• And Sir Arnold doesn’t disappoint, the Graspettes let the Silver Dreams start their cheer – then make their own entrance

• The dirigibles swing in formation and head for the stadium

• The crowd surge after them with only the turnstiles to slow them down

• The dirigibles glide gently down and the Graspettes start their cheer as the press come at the run with the crowd close behind

• With the crowd on the stands and the teams on the ready line – Binky Twinge pilots Sir Arnold in

• The Grasp Bunnies and the Graspettes cluster on Sir Arnold for a last team hug

• Back to the ready line, but the GB’s are still playing to the crowd not the game

• The Blue Meanies win three balls - Ethel Mudd marks her target, Dierdre Widget draws back for a throw

• While down the other end – Honeychile Longshanks asks Vesper Dream if she would like first chuck of the eggy thing. And Samantha Yearn is still strutting

• But didn’t you know how it would go – a languid swing of the hip and Sam is safe, while Honey gives Ethel the finger as her ball strikes home – these girls don’t strut

for nothing

The crowd cheer and wait to see if the balloons will come back, while outside the skaters make the most the empty streets – another

triumph for the purple-panted-people- pleaser!
