• Differentiation• Bilingualism• Simplicity
Heraldic style is common in academia. The “U” in Saint Paul University has been converted to a shield. The idea of graphically modernizing a classic symbol aims to make it unique and distinctive. In addition, this shield has the advantage of being bilingual (in the Institution’s two languages) and it’s easy to decode.
EDITORIAL STYLE
Accessible, direct, intelligent, unpretentious, non-verbose.
This is the face of change.

The shield must always be accompanied by the
signature. It cannot be used alone, except on some promotional items where available space is less than the minimum size of the complete logo (e.g. pencil, USB thumb drive, etc.). See pages
4 and 5 for the logo’s minimum dimensions.
Note: Secondary colours should only be used to create variations in the graphics.
Respect the standards described in this guide to ensure consistency of all brand communications.

A series of photographs was selected for Saint Paul University’s communications (institutional, web, recruitment, etc.). All photographs must be processed in a tinted black and white contrast with a higher intensity of light on the face or main subject.
We suggest using photographs that personify Saint Paul University: serious but friendly students with a fresh look, and representative of theinstitution’s openness.
Please contact Sylvie Moisan at [email protected] to obtain the offi cial photos.
