What will you be doing?

You will be working on a variety of exciting and challenging briefs from day one, and will get to work with some exceptional national and international clients.

Your role will be primarily digital design, with a strong focus on website & UI design.

• Working alongside account managers to consult with clients, create storyboards, wireframes & design references as part of project preparation.

• Supplying the creative & aesthetic direction for a clients project. This is not just a mac op role, you have creative freedom to design digital solutions as you see fit.

• Creating all design assets in a project. You will be tasked with designing all elements across desktop & mobile websites, web apps, mobile apps and digital marketing collateral for some of NZ's leading companies.

• Working alongside our talented development team to ensure your designs are brought to life as envisioned.

• Work alongside the rest of the design team & the Managing director to help enhance and improve Little Giant's overall design workflow & knowledge base.

Desired skills, attributes & experience

• Minimum 1 - 2 years commercial experience in a graphic / digital design position.

• An understanding of UX design, and its role in customer acquisition & retention. Including the idea of user pathways, calls to action and the role of design in conversion.

• Illustration experience, we create custom high end digital solutions. The ability to hand craft icons and infographics will be a huge advantage in this role.

• Experience designing to responsive frameworks, and designing specifically for mobile & tablet devices

• Pride and ownership in what you create, including a high level of attention to detail

• A professional appearance and experience working to time sensitive briefs

• The ability to communicate in utmost clarity, in writing and in person
