The null hypothesis of this investigation is that there is no significance between the consumption of alcohol with the tendency to sleep less when stressed.

The null hypothesis is rejected . The P-value is 0.045 ; P < 0.05 with the sample size of 172 considered as statistically

significant The difference in those who strongly agree that they sleep less for those who

consume alcohol is 17.9 % higher compared to those who do not consume alcohol The result shown in the Graph suggests that a higher proportion of those who

consume alcohol have less sleep when stressed compared to the students who do not consume alchohol.

Out of the 172 students, Less females found it is is easier to get out of bed 12 ( 10.7 % ) compared to males 7 (

11.7 % ) Majority of the females 51 ( 45.5 % ) found the difficulty for them to get out of bed is

neutral while majority of the males 31 ( 51.7 % ) found it is hard for them to get out of bed in the morning.

Graph. Effects of sleep on sleep; waking up more often during night

More than half of the 172 respondents found they wake up more often during the night when stressed out ; that is by 103 ( 59.5 % )

Only minority of the students 69 ( 39.9 % ) do not wake up more often when stressed

The null hypothesis of this investigation is that there is no significance between the inability to recall moment from the night before due to alcohol with the need to consume alcohol in order to enjoy on a night out

The P-value is 0.02 ; P < 0.05 with the sample size of 172 considered as statistically significant

The null hypothesis is rejected . The difference of inability to recall the moment from night before due to alcohol in

those who need alcohol in order to enjoy on a night out is 28.4 % higher than those who do not need alcohol o enjoy a night out

The result shown in the graph suggests that a higher proportion of those who need alcohol to enjoy a night out have higher inability to recall the moment from the night before due to alcohol compared to the students who do not consume alcohol.
