1.1 Permanent or temporary change in land use, land cover or topography including increase in intensity of land use (with respect to local land use plan)
Yes Part of the proposed land which is having an area of 8.0804 Ha is already under mining and there is no vegetation in that area. The remaining land in the proposed land is mostly covered with native trees, shrubs, herbs, grass, climbers, bushes etc. The highest elevation of the lease area is 635m MSL and lowest is 535m MSL. As the proposed area is hil l rock, the drainage of the lease area is towards N & E. No habitants are located in the lease area. The present land is a dry land. The land use certif icate is enclosed as Annexure – 5. There will be permanent change in the topography and land use since the rock will be mined out.
1.2 Clearance of existing land, vegetation and building?
Yes There are no trees in the mine lease area. The area is a hill where by minor shrubs shall be removed as the mining proceeds. .
1.3 Creation of new land uses
No The mined out area will be restored by following the mine closure guidelines
1.4 Pre-construction investigations e.g. bore houses, soil testing?

1.13 Production and manufacturing Process?
No T The mining will be done open cast Semi
mechanized. The working will be done by
forming benches of 5.0m (Average) height. The
proposals of mining for the next five year
workings are given in the table. The Stone
production will be started from the first year the
systematic working of open cast mines, the main
development work will be the forming of
systematic benching. The height of bench will not
be kept more than 5.0m at a time and the width
of the benches will be always kept safe according
to provisions. The highest elevation of the lease
area is 635m. MSL and lowest is 535m MSL. As
the proposed area is hill rock, the drainage of the
lease area is towards N & E. No habitants are
located in the lease area. Old pits lies in the lease
area are marked on surface plan.

T infrastructure development or to the crusher plant.
1.14 Facilities for storage of goods or materials?
Yes The ROM from quarry will be transported directly to the crusher unit/to the client.
1.15 Facilities for treatment or disposal of solid waste or liquid effluents?
No Solid waste
The mine waste and other are proposed to be stacked in the dump area specially provided for the purpose. Care has been taken in selecting the site for the stacking yards for the stacking purpose. It is located in a secure place and having solid base and on a non-used zone. These dump yards have been protected by toe walls. The toe walls will be constructed during first year period. The height of these dumps will also be restricted and benched. A retaining wall 0.5 m x 1.0 m will be made on the low altitude side of the dump.
Liquid Waste
No appreciable quantity of Liquid waste is excepting during monsoon months, no water shall be discharged from mine. A garland drain shall be made all around the quarry to divert the water away from the pit through silt settling tank. The rain water shall be diverted to its natural course.
1.16 Facilities for long term housing of operational workers?
Yes Statutorily qualified personnel will be made available for mining to supervise the operation as per provision of MCDR under metalliferrous Mines Regulations. Around 14 persons will have direct employment in the quarry and indirectly, more than 20 people get employed in various allied services like logistics, green belt creation and other miscellaneous services. The numbers will be flexible as per the requirements.

Trucks / Tippers of 15T will be used for transportation of mineral from mine site. It is expected that 15 -20 trips will be required to transport on daily basis. Thus, the impact due to movement of trucks from the mine will be marginal and well within the capacity of the roads. There will not be any new road network is expected to meet the demands. Sufficient width around 7 meters will be provided for those approach roads as per the norms that a Fire engine and Ambulance have to cross without any traffic congestion.

mine wastes topsoil excavated from the quarry will be dumped separately at pre-determined place and subsequently will be utilized in spreading over reclaimed areas for plantation. Precautions will be taken to limit the height of the topsoil dump to 5 to 6 meters in order to preserve its fertility and shelf life. It will be suitably protected from soil erosion and infertility by planting fodder grass and leguminous plants during temporary storage . About 41946 cu. m. of overburden will be generated throughout the mine life. This waste will be utilized within the pit for lying of haul roads. At the end use, OB can be reutilized as soil base for plantation.
