Build and Share week 80-81: Grandmother’s House

Quickly! This way! Follow the path but be careful I’ve heard that wolves lurk in this forest, I don’t know how she does it. You know, Little Red Riding Hood or as her real name Lydia. We’re going to see her grandmother Miss Maria Mayfeather, she’s very brave to live out in these woods. She’s going to show us around her house and maybe she’ll give us some cookies afterwards. Miss Mayfeather’s cookies are the best in the world!

Hey look! Can you see Miss Mayfeather’s house? I can! It’s pretty isn’t it? Apparently she got some special builder to make it for her.

There we go, we can see it almost properly now! Miss Mayfeather! It’s us! We’ve come to visit you!

Ah there she is! There’s Miss Mayfeather! Good Morning Miss Mayfeather! How are you today?

C’mon let’s go inside and see Miss Mayfeather’s house!

To the left of her front door, Miss Mayfeather has this pretty little kitchen! It’s quite big because our Miss Mayfeather is a natural cook and all the better for making cookies with I say!

To the right of her door, Miss Mayfeather has a pretty little sitting area. She has a nice couch, a matching seat and a bookshelf in the corner. Why does Miss Mayfeather have a tv you ask? For Little Red of course! Miss Mayfeather doesn’t watch tv you see but she got one in especially for Little Red.

If you go through the door next to the sitting room, you find this pretty little bedroom. Of course, this bedroom doesn’t belong to Miss Mayfeather this one belongs to Little Red for when she comes to stay. She leaves a few things here, her teddy Mr Cuddles and a toy box to keep her toys in.

You can see Little Red’s toybox there can’t you? Now let’s go through the door next to it.

This is the bathroom of the house, Little Red and Miss Mayfeather have to share one. As you can see, there’s a laundry basket, a towel ring and of course a bath.

Over here we have a sink and mirror, the door on the left leads back out to the sitting area and the door on the right leads to Miss Mayfeather’s bedroom.

Near the door that leads back out to the sitting area is the toilet.

Here’s Miss Mayfeather’s bedroom isn’t it very pretty? My mother always says, she wants a bedroom like Miss Mayfeather’s but daddy won’t let her. He says it’s too girly!

Now let’s go back through this door!

Which leads us back into the kitchen! Our tour of Miss Mayfeather’s house has come to and end and now we’ll enjoy some of her home baked cookies! Goodbye everyone!
