Day 1: Board your deluxe motorcoach this morning and travel north to Mackinac Island, MI. This tour is a unique opportunity to stay at one of the finest and most historic hotels in America. You’ll delight in the magic and charm of this beautiful hotel and island. Step back in time and experience a way of life that has all but disappeared. Arrive early in the afternoon in Mackinaw City in time to board our ferry that will

take us to the island. Check in to your room at Grand Hotel and enjoy a 5-course dinner in the hotel dining room. Your evening is free to take in one of the featured movies, enjoy one of the planned and included activities**, or sit and relax as you listen to the Grand Hotel Orchestra. (D)

Days 2 and 3: Enjoy breakfast at your leisure in the hotel dining room and then

plan your activities for the day. This tour is like a land cruise; choose to participate in activities as you wish. Experience the charm of a horse drawn carriage, relax in the parlor each afternoon for high tea and cookies, or enjoy a game of bocce ball in the lush surroundings of the tea garden. Inside, explore the Grand Hotel with its vast array of antiques, art and other surprises. Outside, explore the beauty nature provides. A favorite among many visitors is the peaceful setting of the “famous” front porch while taking in the view of the Mackinac Bridge and the Straits of Mackinac. (B & D each day)

Day 4: Start your day by enjoying breakfast this morning at the hotel. Then all too soon it’s time to head home with fond memories of a wonderful “Grand Experience” at Mackinac Island’s Grand Hotel. (B)

Dress Code at Grand Hotel: Before 6:00 PM, dress for comfort and weather. Casual clothing and jeans are allowed in the dining room for breakfast and lunch. After 6:00 PM, ladies should

wear dressy outfits, evening dresses or dressy pants outfits. Gentlemen must wear a coat and tie in the dining room.
