2020 CLASS OF Thomas Ball Thomas Ball graduates this year- in some unknown and yet to be announced pan- demic fashion- from Liberty High School. Thomas first showed himself via ultrasound on 9/11 and now graduates during Covid-2020. He enjoyed running sprints for indoor and outdoor track all his years. His friends have nominated him as Best Friend to introduce to your Parents”. Thomas has served Covenant on 3 mission trips- Costa Rica, Alaska, and Saint Louis- also as a puppeteer for Kids Worship and as games director for VBS. He is excited to join his sister at James Madison University in the fall and major in Business Management. Jack Conrad Jack Conrad is graduating from Westminster High School and the BioMed Pro- gram at the Carroll County Career and Tech Center with a 3.9 GPA. He was active in football all four years, wrestling for three, and lacrosse for two. He participated in the Riobamba, Ecuador, and Alaska mission trips with COG. Jack will attend Messiah College where he will study Physical Therapy and has committed to wrestle.

2020 CLASS OF

Thomas Ball Thomas Ball graduates this year- in some unknown and yet to be announced pan-demic fashion- from Liberty High School. Thomas first showed himself via ultrasound on 9/11 and now graduates during Covid-2020.

He enjoyed running sprints for indoor and outdoor track all his years. His friends have nominated him as “Best Friend to introduce to your Parents”.

Laura Danko Laura Danko will be graduating from Liberty High School. She was a member of Liberty Drama club for 4

years, Vice President for the past 2 years, as well as a member of the International Thespian Society and Music

Honor Society. Her love for drama at Liberty has been both acting on stage as well as behind the scenes as

lead set designer. Her two favorite roles were performing as Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress, and Tzeitel in

Fiddler on the Roof. Recently Laura received the Best Actor award in a One Act, and a Superior rating on her

Induvial Event solo song at the International Thespian Society Festival. Laura has also been a member of Lib-

erty’s Vocal department for four years and a member of the Madrigals choral group for the past two years.

Laura has also been selected for the Senior All State Chorus for the past two years. Laura will be receiving the

Exemplary Service Award upon graduation for having 482 hours in community service. Laura has loved shar-

ing her passion for singing at COG. She has been singing on the Music Team and providing special music for

the past 2 years. She has loved the opportunities to work with children both as the VBS music director her

Sophomore summer and last summer on the mission trip to St. Louis. For the past four years she has attend-

ed the High School Girls Bible Study with Ms. Beachley, which she will greatly miss! Laura is undecided at the

moment, but after a demanding audition process, she has been accepted into the Musical Theater program at

four different colleges to pursue a BFA in Musical Theater.

Reid Jones

Reid is graduating from Franklin High School. While there he played varsity golf and

lacrosse. He was also part of club lacrosse, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the model

UN and the math honor society.

Next year he is looking forward to entering the University of Maryland Business

School.

Rachel Haines

Rachel is graduating from Westminster High School. While there she was involved with the drama team and stage productions. She studied graphic design and had the opportunity to participate in a graphic design internship in Gettysburg, PA.

This fall she will attend Carroll Community College.

Elena Schutz Elena Schutz is graduating from Mercy High School. While at Mercy, she was involved in Dance Troupe, Student Ambassadors, the McAuley Scholars Program, National Honors Society, Steering Committee, Student Leadership Board, and National Dance Honors Society.

She has received the Wellesley College Book Award and the Archdiocese Distinctive Scholar Award.

Elena will be attending University of Maryland College Park, majoring in Business Management

Gabrielle Fisher

Gabrielle Fisher is graduating from high school. She was both home schooled and enrolled in classes at CCBC during her high school years. During that time, Gabby participated in lacrosse, swimming, and Baltimore County 4-H. As a 4-H member, she received many awards for expression, arts and baking at the Baltimore County and Maryland State Fairs. Gabby was also awarded the 4-H Andy Schmidt service award.

This fall she will attend CCBC with a major in Biology. Her future plans are to continue her studies to become a physician assistant in Emergency Medicine.

Adolfo Martinez Adolfo graduated from Owings Mills High School.

While at OMHS, Adolfo played soccer and lacrosse all four years and was the captain of his lacrosse team in his senior year. He was also a part of the stage crew and was responsible for building the stage for his school’s musical. He was also in student government and FLY (Facilitating. Leadership in Youth) and was an honors student all through school.

Adolfo will attend Loyola University Maryland and will major in Mechanical Engineer-ing with a possible double major in Material Engineering.

Hugh “Turner” McLaurin Hugh “Turner” McLaurin graduates this year from Mt. Hebron High School where he participated in the Math Team and served as co-captain in his senior year.

Turner was in the Math and Technological Honor Societies.

He will be attending University of Maryland in College Park this fall, as part of the “scholars program”, in the “Science, Discovery and the Universe” track.

His high school track was “Project Lead the Way (PLTW)” which is engineering.

Jon Danko

Jon received Behavior Science degrees in both Accounting and Finance and achieved a GPA of 3.54 from Liberty University. Jon participated in the Accounting Society and the Big Brother / Little Sister program.

In early October, Jon will begin work at RSM Accounting Firm..

Alexis Fisher Alexis Fisher is graduating from Goucher College with a BA in Literary Studies. While at Goucher, she held a tutoring position at the Writing Center and served as a Teach-er's Assistant in a 400 level writing course. Alexis was awarded third place in the Ap-plestein-Sweren Writing Contest.

Her future plans include finding a local teaching position, and eventually, she would like to teach Literary Studies at college level.

Blake Ruby Blake just graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a BBA in Music Business minoring in Audio Production.

He has worked as a production, recording and mixing engineer as well as a staff en-gineer at REM Studios in Nashville. This has allowed him to record, produce and mix records for solo artist and other clients. Blake has also released two of his own al-bums which are on ITunes, Amazon Music and Spotify. He has also performed at multiple venues in Nashville during these four years.

He will be getting married to Kayla (Ecker) this August after which they will reside in Nashville where Blake plans on writing and producing music.

Holly Burnett Woodworth

Holly graduated from Duquesne University in December of 2019. Holly obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in Economics a minor in Mathe-matics and also received a certificate in Actuarial Science. Holly graduated Summa Cum Laude and was also on the Dean’s List.

Holly was involved in Crossroads Christian Fellowship on campus.

She currently is an actuarial consultant with Continuing Care Actuaries in Reister-stown.

Trace Haines Trace graduated in September 2019 from Reformed Theological Seminary in the Dis-trict of Columbia with a Master of Arts and Biblical Studies. He achieved a GPA of 3.79

Trace is currently seeking ministry opportunities. When he retires from Verizon, he plans to spend his last working years building the Kingdom of God in some fashion.
