Office bearers of the Governing Body and their functions

and duties:

[A] President:

1. The President shall preside over the meetings of the General Body and

Governing Body and shall have the right of casting vote.

2. In case of receipt of requisition from the members regarding convening the

meeting the President can direct the Secretary to convene a Special General

Body Meeting.

3. To do all acts in order to promote the general welfare of the society.

[B] Vice-President:

1. In the absence of the President all the powers of the President shall be

enjoyed by the Vice President. Also vice president will help President in day

to day works.

[C] Secretary:

1. The Secretary shall be the custodian of records of the trust and shall

represent the society in all matters, concerning administration of the trust.

2. To convene meetings of Governing Body and General Body.

3. To write minutes of the meetings of the General Body and Governing Body

and to maintain the same properly.

4. To conduct all the official correspondence for and on behalf of the Society.

5. To be in charge of the Society's office and all the things connected therewith

and to be the custodian of all the records of the society including cash books

and investments scripts and records relating to the property and shall arrange

for their safe custody.

6. To call for inspection, at least once in a year and often, if required, service

books, leave accounts, dead stock registers, account books, vouchers,

general and other registers and records of all the Society's institutions.

7. To look to the upkeep of the Society's buildings and grounds and other

properties.

8. To insure buildings and the properties of the Society against risk of fire and

lightening.

9. To maintain list of all the members of the Society with their addresses.

10. To perform such other duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the

Governing Body and/or as may be necessary to be carried in the interest of

the Society.

[D] Treasurer:-

1. The Treasurer shall be primarily responsible for maintaining proper accounts

of the Society and to get the same audited from the statutory auditors

appointed for that purpose.

2. The Treasurer shall endeavor to get accounts balanced and thereafter audited

in time and shall endeavor to submit the same before the General Body for

approval in the stipulated period.

3. It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to keep accounts of funds including

permanent, current and other funds and properties of the Society.

[E] Member:-

1. To help the office bearers in day today activities of the Association.

Outstanding Alumni of Civil Department:

I'm feeling proud to say that I've completed my degree in civil

engineering from a prestigious and in demand college. I came to

Indapur in 2010 with hopes of getting my future in line and exactly

happened same under guidance of Principle Dr. Nemade P. D. and

associate professors of civil branch. I completed my engineering

with ease, only because of the support and motivation I received

from fellow classmates and teachers. I saw world from different

perspective only because the teaching level made you to think

about the subjects from professional and practical point. Passing

out with not more flying colors and marks but due to the teaching

environment which was more practical made me join one of the

biggest company in history of Structural engineering in India. It was

SN Bhobe & Associates PVT Ltd who saw the potential in me and

hired me for the major projects. I've successfully designed flyover

in Pune under same company and now all three of them are in

service. Feels proud to serve my country which was made possible

by my college. I left from there while I was holding a package of

more than 4 lakh as I've been successfully enrolled in Masters of

International Business in Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia.

I belong to a rural area from Baramati Maharashtra. I was not well

conversant in English when I came S.B.Patil College of Engineering

Indapur in the year 2009. In spite of this difficulty I was able to

successfully complete my degree within the stipulated time period

with 1st Class Distinction also being the College topper of the

founder batch. Currently I am a proud serving officer of the

Maharashtra Water Resources Department. This has been possible

only due to the hardwork, dedication and perseverance of my

teachers as well as the disciplined but homely atmosphere of my

college.

I am so proud to be the part of SBPCOE. We always had excellent

infrastructure and assertive engineering faculties who so

supportive. Apart from curriculum we are encouraged to

participate in all inter college events which gave us exposure and

builds lot of confidence in ourselves.

It is my great pleasure to express my few words towards my

college. I had admitted in S. B. Patil College of Engineering in 2011

for first year. Now I am working as Junior engineer. When I look at

my four year journey of engineering at SBPCOE I thought I am very

lucky that I have completed my engineering from this college.

SBPCOE is one of the best college I have seen in Pune University

with such a beautiful campus, good infrastructure, qualified &

experienced staff, well equipped laboratories and many more.

SBPCOE not only produces good engineers but also good human

positive for a student. The professors are great, pursuing towards

both research and teaching.Every faculty member and the whole

staff is very helpful and understanding towards students.

The college provides a better exposure to industrial environment as

well as trained us to deal and coup up with the up coming trend of

industry. The sports facility provided in the college helps in the

physical development of the students.The Placement Cell helps the

students recognise their career goals and plan accordingly. The

college hosts fest which is a bliss for all the students. Different

events and competitions are organized by the college to enhance

our various skills. Studies, discipline, enjoyment, learning

everything is given equal importance and transforms a student into

a better person. Overall the Institute provides an opportunity for

development of the students both in terms of academic as well as

College is all about making career and in that respect I found that

the faculty department was very good and very helpful. The

approach to solve the problems is very fine and perfect. There is no

problem with the department too. Being honest fun with friends and

sometimes with some faculty make our college life enjoyable.

Some faculty are very friendly to students, its also beneficial for

students as the hesitation gap between student and faculty fills up.

Infrastructure of college is very good . Especially the structure of

the classrooms are very nice. All the facilities like fans bemches

are comfortable. Large campus, RO purified drinking water, sport

ground, industry visit and talk about industry, by some activities

other than learning and some free time. The lab facilities provided

by the college is excellent. The college is accommodated with all

the apparatus required for the practical works. The students can

freely operate the instruments and can do the practicals. Faculty

members provide the needed support to the students. Every day at

least 2 lectures are provided for the lab work so as to make the

student efficient enough in practical works. For industry exposure

the college should provide more opportunities to students.

I am always proud to call myself a product of SBPCOE. The level of

coaching and the care we got from the faculties are amazing and

the subject knowledge still remains fresh in my mind even after 5

years of industry experience. it is because of the way were taught the

It had a marvelous experience while studying with S.B. Patil College

of Engineering (SBPCOE). The Faculty is well experienced with good

knowledgeable and they trained the students by grooming them to

cope up with the corporate culture as working with team. The college

is very good in discipline; training and scoring aspects as we are

know that the SBPCOE will be mostly ranked Pune University. It is due

to the initial selection as well as training the students. The staff is

As this is situated in rural area of Indapur city it has provided good quality of

Education for the students in this rural area.

Library facilities provided by Institute to the students are also good; all types of

reference books, magazines, novels, & Newspapers are available for us & are

updated & managed as per requirements of the students.

But we have to update its renewal after 7 days which is pretty annoying for us.

As this college has provided us a good quality of hostel facility along with high

speed Internet, 24*7 electricity , water supply & CCTV Surveillance which is good

for our safety issues.

Hostel`s Mess is also good with proper diet for the students.

But some competition has to bring here for mess to make it better.

Various facilities like Xerox center, canteen, & stationeries are made available for

us in the campus so we don’t have to get worried about it. But medical facilities

are absent in campus.

Cleanliness is well maintained by the college, classrooms, corridors, halls, lab are

regularly cleaned and maintained by the non teaching staff.

Our college has a Best staff that makes a good quality & knowledgeable

engineers for the community.

Course information, Course material, & practical knowledge provided is of best

quality &easy to understand. Regular site visits are managed by college for the

students to relate with real & practical education

This institute is strict but nourishing for students to become a good Engineer.

Hostel students are not allowed in campus after 9 PM which is also annoying

The collage organizes various academic program to increase the capability of

the student, my branch organizes workshop on STAD pro, E-TAB, Solid waste

management, Q-GIS by K-Cube, Optimization &techniques, Ashamed 2K15 etc.

Ground facilities is not that much good as they are not well maintained.

Extra exposures should be given to the students apart from their academic

studies, as it will increase numbers on their score card but curriculum should be

awarded to develop students.
