ONESIMUS MINISTRIES From the desk of Bill Lombardi 2016 brought us sorrow along with happiness. We lost a wonderful volunteer; Rev. Vassie M. Ferebee, who went home to be with the Lord March 11, 2016. The Senior Pastor from Norview Baptist Church in Norfolk; Pastor Michael Smith left us. Thank you for your guidance, and fellowship over the years. You are missed by all who know you and love you. This year we renovated the ventilation system under the Onesimus Training Center. Several Vehicles were donated to the Ministry for use by staff and residents. Several of our Residents were released from probation. Some even received their rights back, and a number of residents were able to restore their driving Privileges. This year 51 men entered our program, 32 graduated and are making good progress in their lives. Some of that number have remained for a little more seasoning. A number of men made professions of faith and others renewed their faith. Two men made decisions to follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. Three of our residents continued their education by taking college classes. It’s an honor and privilege to serve as the Resident Manager for Onesimus Ministries. It gives me great joy in seeing first hand how the Lord works in each one of the men's lives. Thank you for all that you do to support this Ministry. You are our family, our friends, and we love you all. May God Bless everyone in this new year.
