Accreditation and Membership Our Degree Programs
Chapman University is accredited by and is a member of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Other accreditations include:
• AACSB: The International Association for Management Education for the MBA degree within the Argyros School of Business and Economics
• The American Physical Therapy Association for the graduate program in physical therapy.
• The American Bar Association fully approves the juris doctorate degree of the School of Law.
• The Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy for the Marriage and Family Therapy master’s degree.
• The Council of Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for the M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders program. (The program is in candidacy status.)
• The National Association of School Psychologists for the school psychology degree program.
• The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for the university’s teacher training and credential programs.

The Perfect LocationChapman University is located in California’s beautiful Orange County, home to world-renowned attractions like Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm, major-league baseball and ice hockey, the Orange County Performing Arts Center, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
