SMART PHONE BASED E-HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM
Telemedicine is used to define various aspects of health care at a distance.
In its wider applications, telemedicine can be defined as the use of tele-
communication technologies to provide medical information and services.
Telemedicine is becoming most recognized as referring to remote clinical
care and consultation. The growing influence of technology, mobile
phones and computers, along with the advances in medical devices, are
becoming an integral part in the future of healthcare. These technology
driven devices are making their way towards becoming essential tools in
offices of medical practitioners. With this equipment, record keeping of
medical information of patients could be made more efficient, convenient
and richer in content.

3D Laser Surface Mapping
The 3D laser surface mapping project aims to build a 3D model of an un-
known environment that is to be scanned. In the project, laser distance
meter and synchronized motion control is used to record accurate distance
measurements between the device and a specific point on the surface to
be scanned. A rotating mechanical assembly is constructed which is used
to move the laser distance meter in two degrees of freedom. This is done
with the help of two stepper motors, which provide incremental move-
ment in azimuth and elevation plane. With the help of an interfacing
board, distance measurements are sent from laser distance meter to a per-
sonal computer through USB port and processed. Processed data is ex-
ported to Mesh Lab which is used to construct a 3D representation of the
surface. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is created to provide users con-
trol of the system and produce surface scans according to their require-
ment.

Wireless USB Access – An Intermediate between USB and RF
Technology
USB devices – particularly USB Flash Drives – have seen a large influx
in consumer use in recent years – especially with reference to sensitive
data. With increasing consumer demands for prompt data accessibility,
technologists have introduced the concept of wireless storage. During the
past few years, advancements have mainly been focused on internet-based
wireless storage solutions; however with the vulnerabilities of the internet
as a whole from the diversely persistent hacker community, storing sensi-
tive personal/business data online is no longer a viable solution. Bearing
these contingencies in mind, we decided to contrive a solution that will
enable flash storage data to securely be made accessible on common
Bluetooth enabled smart devices. In a nutshell, our project is a storage
medium interfaced to a Bluetooth module via controller for AES encryp-
tion/decryption. We propose our solution as an alternative to other wire-
less data storage solutions.

Hardware Encrypted USB using AES 256 Bit on FPGA
It is a hardware encrypted USB 2.0 device on an FPGA board using 256
bit AES encryption/decryption algorithm. This USB is a plug and play de-
vice that is compatible with most new generation computers and operat-
ing systems. It provides the highest level of security to all the data stored
and transferred through this device. The USB device includes a built in
keypad which is used to enter the PIN code to access data which cannot
be accessed otherwise. The data stored in the device is encrypted in the
real time by the encryption algorithm stored within the device. The device
is fully hardware encrypted and it provides better protection against unau-
thorized access and malicious threats as compared with software encryp-
tion.

DMD Implementation Of Single Pixel Camera Using Compressed
Sensing
Single pixel camera is a new imaging device that develops from the
“ghost” imaging and compressive sensing theory. For high resolution im-
aging with large amount of data, the process of measurement and recon-
struction is time-consuming, which limits its application to remote sens-
ing area. Compressed Sensing is an emerging field based on the revelation
that a small group of non-adaptive linear projections of a compressible
signal or image contains enough information for reconstruction and proc-
essing. . Our new digital image camera directly acquires random projec-
tions of a scene without first collecting the pixels. The camera architec-
ture employs a digital micro mirror array to optically calculate linear pro-
jections of the scene onto pseudorandom binary patterns. Its key hallmark
is its ability to obtain an image with a single detection element (the
"single pixel") while measuring the scene fewer times than the number of
pixels. Since the camera relies on a single photon detector, it can also be
adapted to image at wavelengths where conventional CCD and CMOS
imagers are blind.

XBEE MODULE BASED HIGH LEVEL SECURITY SYSTEM FOR
SENSITIVE LABS AND DEPARTMENTS
We are developing an XBEE module based security system to provide
high next level security in real time for labs and departments with sensi-
tive nature of job. Each bona fide individual allowed in the premises of
the room provided with this security system is allotted a unique code.
XBEE module detects the RF radiation from individual module. A Data
Base would be developed which will have the detail of every individual
allowed in the department and installed in the computer/microcontroller.
Software Code will be developed to capture and compare the individual’s
identity data with information stored in database. When an intruder comes
in the room where this system is installed, an alarm is generated. The soft-
ware will repeat the process for every individual who tries to move in the
department where this system is installed. By doing so it provides next
level security where every person coming in remains oblivious of this se-
curity system installation hence provides real time intruder detection.

Design and Implementation a Hardware Firewall
The Basic aim of the project is to Design and implement a Hardware Fire-
wall which would enable us to secure our Network. The hardware firewall
will be packet filtering to examine the header of a packet to determine its
source and destination. The information will be compared to a set of pre-
defined or user-created rules that determines whether the packet is to be
forwarded or dropped. Hardware firewalls are purchased as stand-alone
product but are also typically found in broadband routers, and should be
considered an important part of your system and network set-up.Most
hardware firewalls will have a minimum of four network ports to connect
other computers, but for larger networks, business networking firewall so-
lutions are available.

Quad Band Cell Phone Jammer (Commercial Package)
Mobile jammer is an electronic device used to prevent mobile phones
from receiving or transmitting signals with the base stations. Mobile jam-
mers can be used in practically at any location, but are used in places
where a phone call would be particularly disruptive like Libraries, Hospi-
tals, Cinema halls, schools & colleges etc. As with other radio jamming,
mobile jammers block mobile phone use by sending out micro waves
along the same frequencies that mobile phones use. This causes enough
interference with the communication between mobile phones and commu-
nicating towers to render the phones unusable. Mobile Jammers were
originally developed for law enforcement and the military to interrupt
communications by criminals and terrorists to foil the use of certain re-
motely detonated explosives. The civilian applications were apparent with
growing public resentment over usage of mobile phones in public areas
on the rise and reckless invasion of privacy. Over time many companies
originally contracted to design mobile jammers for government switched
over to sell these devices to private entities. This project aims at designing
and constructing a Quad band mobile phone jammer to avoid explosions
using mobile carriers.

Preliminary Design and Prototype Development of Payload
Transmitter for Satellite
The payload transmitter unit consists of several small modules which is
the requirement of SUPARCO. However, this project is not totally based
on the guidelines of SUPARCO, yet it will provide fruitful result which
can serve as a prototype for the original design. This payload unit should
be able to serve several different purposes. It should be able to receive the
signal from ground station transmitter on the basis of which it shall be
able to transmit all telemetry information i.e temperature, current and hu-
midity to ground station receiver. It can also receive voice signal from
ground station transmitter which is being received at payload segment and
then forwarded to transmitter for further transmission to ground station
receiver. In order to incorporate the telemetry information in payload
transmitter, temperature sensor along with microcontroller is used. Simi-
lar approach will be done for humidity and current. This telemetry infor-
mation is being displayed on LCD in order to show that correct informa-
tion is being received at receiver segment.

Traffic Violation Detection and Notification
Traffic violations are a serious problem now days; they make our roads a
danger to not only the violator himself, but also to anyone around him.
Recent surveys show a rapid increase in road accidents leading to loss of
hundreds of valuable lives.
We will try to solve this problem by developing a Traffic Violation Detec-
tion and Notification System which will monitor traffic 24/7. If a traffic
violation occurs on road this system will not only detect the violation but
also capture the image of the violating vehicle, notify the violator and
maintain that driver’s record at the government’s database until fine has
been paid.
We will focus mainly on Over-speeding and Red-light violation as these
are a major cause for road accidents. This report contains design details of
the project, results of simulations and problems faced while testing of the
project, progress so far and timeline for the completion of this project.

Implementing FIPS 140-2 (Tamper Resistance) standard using FPGA
Protecting a cryptographic module and securing data present on a device
is the aim of all organizations to maintain the integrity and confidentiality
of their device and data. Similarly, the purpose of this project is to provide
protection against all kinds of physical tampering in conformity with the
level 3 of FIPS 140-2 standard. The goal of this project is to provide resis-
tance and response in case of physical tampering of the device. FPGA
(Virtex6–ML605) kits are being used in this project and its objective is to

Development of a Data Modem for GSM voice channel
While the cellular revolution has made voice connectivity ubiquitous in
the developing world, data services are largely absent or are prohibitively
expensive. GSM voice channel is designed for low-bit rate digitized
speech which makes it unsuitable for data communication mainly because
of the voice codec's used in GSM. These codec's greatly distort any signal
that doesn’t have speech-like properties.
This project is about the development of modem for GSM voice channel
using speech-like waveform that can go through GSM voice channel
without experiencing significant distortion. The objective of this project
is to carefully evaluate the recent research developments in the area, de-
sign and implement a suitable waveform for real-time data communica-
tion over GSM voice channel.
GSM voice channel when used for data communication will make wide
spread GSM channel attractive for variety of applications. This data trans-
mission will have greater throughput when compared with SMS data ser-
vice and that too at the lower cost per bit.

Implementation of Multi-tone OFDM Modem for Narrow Band
Wireless link
This project will involve the development of SDR (Software Defined Ra-
dio) based radio for HF (3 MHz to 30MHz) communication i.e. a very
noisy, unreliable and interrupted channel for wireless communication, us-
ing the OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technique
in the implementation of Modem of the radio. The project will be imple-
mented on USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) Kit i.e. a very
versatile equipment for real time simulation of wireless systems There ex-
ist many hardware HF Modems working on the principle of OFDM con-
suming only a small bandwidth approximately 4KHz but these radios are
v e r y c o s t l y a n d l i m i t e d i n t h e i r u s e .
We are going to design and implement such type of Modem on USRP1
Kit that can serve the function of both modem and transceiver (a complete
Radio) and establish an effective voice communication. This will reduce
the effective cost and also the cost of upgrades (like Email, Images and
Encryption Etc.)

Development of a Wireless Mobile Charger
With smart phones becoming increasingly common, more and more peo-
ple are complaining about battery drainage and having to recharge their
phone frequently. A viable solution is presented in this report which in-
volves the design of a transmitter that will transfer electrical power via
microwaves to the mobile devices (which will be fitted with a receiving
antenna circuitry). It will work as a universal wireless charger for all de-
vices having the receiver module up to a range of 2-3m. Current wireless
chargers implemented on QI standard work for only 2-4cm and use the
principle of electromagnetic induction. Our project aims to increase this
range to provide greater convenience to users.

Real Time Acoustic Source Localization Using FPGA
The purpose of the ‘Acoustic Source Localization’ project is to detect an
acoustic source. The motivation for this project is to come up with a way
of passively locating a target using sound based localization technique.
The project aims to detect an acoustic source by means of exploiting the
fact that when sound waves are incident on multiple input sources, having
a certain space between them, there would always be some phase differ-
ence between the incident sound waves. This phase difference would be
used to locate the location of the sound source in space. This project
would be implemented on an FPGA kit for achieving real time localiza-
tion of the source. The analogue input is fed to the FPGA through ADC
unit. The output would be relayed to the user through an appropriate inter-
face.

Polarization Agile Patch Antenna
Micro-strip patch antennas are very popular because of light weight, low
volume and thin profile. A new reconfigurable micro-strip patch antenna
allowing switching between linear, circular and elliptical polarizations is
proposed. It consists of a square radiating patch directly connected to 3
dB hybrid coupler. Tuning of varactor diode will adjust the phase of the
feed to square patch. Phase difference between the two feeds will deter-
mine the type of polarization. Operating frequency will be 2.4 GHz.
Simulation is done by ADS and HFSS software. Antenna characteristic is
suitable for Wi-Fi applications.
For long distance communication we have to modulate our information
with some carrier of high frequency so that it can cope with the losses
coming in its way. We can use circular polarization as our modulation
technique. If we have to avoid a signal which is linearly polarized we can
switch to circular or elliptical polarization. When incoming signals and
the polarization of the receiver is not matched we can’t receive the incom-
ing signal due to polarization mismatch. The circular polarized antenna
has a lot of applications in wireless communication (especially reception
of signals in mobile communication) as it will be an ideal antenna to re-
ceive the signal as it does not depends upon orientation of the antenna.

INTELLIGENT CAR DRIVING SYSTEM
The “Intelligent Car Driving System” is an amalgamation of hardware and software into a packaged system which shall be able to drive a car without any human intervention, keeping in view the parameters such as traffic signs, traffic lights, surrounding objects and roads. The Intention behind developing such a system is to create an automated version of hu-man driver - less the faults that are a part of human nature.
The user shall set a destination for the system and the system keeping this information in view will drive a car automatically. Limiting human role will not only be a big step towards automation but also will help save thousands of lives that are ordinarily lost due to traffic accidents caused by human errors. Being the first version of the system its intention was purely towards research based goals that are to explore the possibility of automation in car driving.
The work focuses on two major aspect of driving that are collision avoid-ance with the objects in the surrounding and following traffic signs. The system has number of input sensor which help the system to monitor the surrounding atmosphere and any change in the environment is fed to the system as a stimuli. The system takes appropriate action based on the stimuli. The system consists of 3 Major modules i.e. Central Control; Sen-sors Control; Car Controls.
The Sensor Control constantly monitors the environment and the changes within the environment through cameras and range finder sensors, and no-tifies the Central Control of any changes that are taking place within the environment. The Central Control System based on input from Sensor Control determines the appropriate action that needs to be taken. The ac-tion is conveyed to actuators via the Car Controls module and hence re-sulting in the smooth driving of the vehicle.

SLEEP APNEA DETECTION
This is the android application that allows users to monitor themselves
while sleeping to detect sleep apnea. Sleep apnea affects the way you
breathe when you’re sleeping. These breathing pauses typically last be-
tween 10 to 20 seconds and can occur up to hundreds of times a night,
jolting you out of your natural sleep rhythm. As a consequence, you spend
more time in light sleep and less time in the deep, restorative sleep you
need to be energetic, mentally sharp, and productive the next day. This
chronic sleep deprivation results in daytime sleepiness, slow reflexes,
poor concentration, and an increased risk of accidents. Sleep apnea can
also lead to serious health problems over time, including diabetes, high
blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and weight gain. by proper treatment
all these disease could be prevented but in hospital its costly so our appli-
cation will be cheap and will help many people to get there apnea cured.
The hardware part consists of a SpO2 sensor and breathe rate sensor to
get continuous readings of pulse rate with oxygen saturation level in
blood and the breathing rate. The android application to record these read-
ings from hardware device to monitor patient during sleep. Android appli-
cation is being developed using Eclipse and SDK 3.0.
When the entire sensor is connected with Bluetooth they continuously
send data reading to the android application which makes a graph of the
reading. The application being developed continuously monitors the read-
ings of all sensors to detect sleep apnea. When sleep apnea is detected the
application sounds an alarm. The product will help out the sleep apnea pa-
tients to monitor themselves in sleep at their homes. It provides efficient,
convenient, free of prejudice, flexible, secure and error free sleep moni-
toring for personal use.

ANDROID APPLICATION FOR EYE DIAGNOSIS SUITE
Proper and clear vision is one of the fundamental necessities of any human be-
ing. An average of 75% of the population at least visits an optician or doctor
(ophthalmologist) in 6 months for an eye check-up. The vision test and the
color blindness tests, which are the most common tests in the eye domain takes
at least 15-25 minutes of the doctor’s time per person. Daily, the ophthalmolo-
gists (doctors) examine more than 30 patients that just need to test their vision
or examine patients on different colour blindness tests.
With the exceedingly rapid advancements in the field of technology, the entire
concept of medicine and patient treatment is evolving and taking a new shape
altogether. The idea of telemedicine (the use of telecommunication and infor-
mation technologies in order to provide clinical health care at a distance) is
deepening its roots with every passing day. Keeping this in mind and its sig-
nificance in today’s world, our aim is to develop an android application that is
accessible to every android tablet/Smartphone user to perform eye tests in or-
der to check their vision along with the colour blindness.
This application will not only provide free, fast, zero-travelling cost, efficient
and accurate results to the users but will also help to reduce the number of pa-
tients that the doctor has to treat thereby reducing the doctor’s burden. Also the
paramedics, health workers and doctors can take this application in the remot-
est areas and can perform eye tests on patients, who are not provided with ba-
sic health facilities in routine. Diagnosis suite will also increase the awareness
among the general population and people will be more careful about their eyes.
The application will have a modular structure targeting four major eye tests i.e
distant vision test, Ishihara and FM100 test (colour blindness tests) and fundus
imagery.

DRIVING ASSIST AND SAFETY SYSTEM
.
There are certain problems the drivers face while driving a car like Blind
Spot problem, drivers’ lack of attention while driving the car (eye contact)
and distance from the car in front.
These problems play an important role in the accidents that occur all
around the world every year. To cater for these problems we intend to de-
velop a system that will provide the driver with all the necessary, proc-
essed information which will help (assist) him while driving.
Sleep creeps up on drivers almost unnoticed, at that time most of the peo-
ple risk falling asleep for a few seconds unintentionally. Tiredness is also
a factor for the accidents. That is one of the worst scenarios when the
Driving Assist System can help, but there is many more circumstance
which can bring a car close to intentional leaving of the lane without hav-
ing the proper knowledge about what is behind their own vehicle. Also
over speeding and loosing the control at the critical moments.
Blind spot is the region on the both side of car which is outside the vision
angle of driver and side mirrors combined. System shall detect the object
(vehicle) presence; determine if it is in the blind spot region and then
alarming the driver.
The system receives the instruction from the user through User interface,
which consists of buttons for enabling/disabling the system or to override
any settings.

SERVEILLANCE APPLICATION
. SAPP is basically used for the surveillance of any object or person, but
here our main focus are the children of the age of around 15 years as you can’t
give them mobile phones at that time of age and you want to stay aware of
their movements as well, for example if they were supposed to be back from
school but they are not back yet, SAPP can help you out to know where they
are. It can also be used for mentally disable person as well because someone
needs to stay with them all the time to take care of them but by using SAPP
you can monitor them by using your android phone. In same way you can use
it for your organization to monitor your subordinates during working time.
Main User can login to the SAPP using valid ID and Password and can moni-
tor his child. The location of the child will be displayed on the Map using a
pointer if you click on the pointer you can get the other details (Environment
temp of child and Pulse rate).User can change password and set restricted areas
as well for their children. If the children is present in any area which is set re-
stricted for him a Restricted Area Alert will be sent to the main user even if he
has not logged in to the device.
We have 2 main modules first is an android application called Surveillance Ap-
plication (for main user) and second is a hardware gadget (for secondary user).
In hardware gadget we have five modules (GPS module, GSM module, Temp
sensor, Pulse detector and a Mini Processor) all connected in a wired net-
work.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED ASSISTANCE APPLICATION
. Android is rapidly growing technology that covers various aspects of
human life. It makes human life far easier whether in the field of medical
or science. VIAA will focus on disable people that would enable them to
use android phone effectively. It will enable them to attend call using
voice recognition APIs and will reject on command. Furthermore, sending
receiving messages will also be manipulated using voice recognition
APIs.
This app will focus on specific domain i.e. visually impaired people (VIP)
who’re eager to use android phones but are unable because of the inter-
face provided by android. VIAA will be embedded in the system and will
guide visually impaired people to attend or reject call. It will also have the
facility to send and receive messages, set and delete alarm through voice
controller, set and delete calendar events, find current location of the visu-
ally impaired person and weather information of the VIP’s surrounding.
Similarly if visually impaired wants to send message, speech to text APIs
will be embedded in the system that would target the spoken voice to text
and will send on the command of visually impaired person.
We have already developed APIs for voice to text recognition and vice
versa, we’ll try to modify them and will extract a user friendly system out
of it. Text to voice applications are currently used in Android mobile
phone.

HELP MATE
“Help Mate” application is proposed as a platform for linking seekers to
volunteers and donors. Pakistan is considered as one of the leading coun-
tries to have donations and community services under various heads, in-
cluding Zakat, charity as well as organizations like Edhi Foundation,
Ashiyana, SoS Children Village etc. in addition to vast amount of funds
and government resources.
Despite the huge scope of the program, it has been observed that seekers
remain aloof from the available volunteers and donors and thus remain
deprived of the available community services. It results into the miseries
and afflictions caused to the needy persons, whereas the donors remain
ignorant of the same. It has also been observed that people in the hospitals
lose their life due to unavailability of resources for getting blood, medi-
cines or the doctor’s fees. Similarly, there may exist blood donors that can
extend their help but may remain uninformed. There are often the situa-
tions when the children are deprived of quality education due to inability
of the parents to afford school fees. Meanwhile, there may exist certain
institutions that offer free of cost education to the students on compas-
sionate grounds, but the needy people may remain unaware of the facility.

Fortify Me
Fortify Me is a web application that will carry automated meaningful search on
behalf of the user (Job Provider and Job Seeker) so that only precise and cor-
rect information is retrieved and both the users can find their right match, that
is, Job Seekers find the right job and Employers find the right person for the
job.
The job portal takes data of job seekers from LinkedIn and as their CVs. Data
is extracted from LinkedIn using its profile API. CVs can be provided either by
filling data into online forms provided by portal or by uploading in PDF for-
mat. PDF Parser is a PHP library that is used to extract data from CVs in pdf
format. Skills are separately extracted from this data. These extracted skills are
individually mapped over relational database. Every new added skill is sent to
Google to get its Uniform Recourse Identifier using Ajax call to Google API.
Different representations of skill names are stored with common URI in rela-
tional database.
On the other hand, Job portal takes data of Job providers and their related com-
panies. Job providers upload jobs on behalf of their companies. Skills are ex-
tracted from job and are mapped to relational database. Each skill is sent to
google using AJAX call to get its URI.
URI of skills are used to perform skill based search. Each URI from Google is
searched over the database and skills with same URIs are grouped together to
achieve semantics using google as base ontology. Users can perform skill hunt
loosely means without restricting themselves to actual spells of words. More-
over profiles of both job seekers and companies are efficiently maintained over
the portal. Interface of website is adaptive to increase usability of portal.
We have successfully implemented semantics for performing skill based
search. Job seekers get job notifications as per their skill specifications and
suitable candidates for jobs are recommended to job providers according to the
job criteria. Moreover, Job seekers and Job providers can search for jobs and
candidates respectively. Users also get SMS and email notifications about rec-
ommendations.

CATCH THE BUS
Due to the hike in fares, bleak condition of Aircrafts and trains. The
middle class of Pakistan is inclined to use bus service as replacement to
these services. Due to the heavy demand of bus services the workload of
the bus service providers has exceptionally increased. Automating the
process by granting the customer with easy access to purchase tickets via
his/her cellphone by merely sitting at home relieves the additional burden
for both the Service Providers and customers. For serving the purpose we
are developing an android app which will facilitate its users to book/
reserve/Purchase their tickets to their desired destinations by just a mere

ARMY SUPPLY AND SUPPORT AUTOMATION SYSTEM
Being in the 21st century the present manual working of the daily tasks of
Pakistan Army Battalions needs to be digitized to match the Armies of
other countries. This will not increase the efficiency of our Army but also
make our national defence stronger.
In the present scenario of our country we have multiple challenges like
war on terror, floods during rains or many other crises in the country-
army is the organization which is always there for the nation. Due to these
increased added responsibilities the work load on the army has increased
as army has to do the tasks of police as well as social welfare organization
like disaster management.
AS&SAS will make the management for the army easier by reduced the
work load. It will handle the daily supply/demand requests of the battal-
ions which are presently being done by Men, making them enable to do
some other task. AS&SAS will be deployed on a client/server based net-
work in the Army. No such work has been done in the past.

CLASH OF CARS
COC(Clash of Cars) is racing video game for windows 8 devices in a 3D environment. It features a racing style that incorporate real world cars and locales with arcade styles handling and vehicular combat. It will feature various game modes e.g Battle, Sprint, Circuit. It will allow players to compete with other opponents in a multiplayer game mode.
Clash of Cars will be a new product. The conception of its idea was origi-nated with the aim of providing a real time online multiplayer gaming ex-perience to the end users. Online multiplayer gaming is very popular around the globe.Gamers throughout the world have enjoyed multiplyer gaming on their personal computers till now. Different car racing games are already available but either they have poor graphics or don’t operate on mobile devices. Our application will be one of a kind that will satisfy its user with superb graphic quality and a real time multiplayer environ-ment on their mobile devices and tablets. In Clash of Car the player will encounter three different gaming modes (Circuit, Sprint and battle), many licensed cars ranging from Ford to BMW to Traditional Pakistani Rickshaws, all of which have full traits such as Acceleration, Speed, Drift, Grip and Stability. Some special car models have been designed by our team. The tracks are also based on real-world environments, such as our very own MCS several other parts of Pakistan. The player races against other opponents, they will have their own racing styles, power-up set ups, match types, locales and cars. As the player races well, battles with other players through power-ups acquired in certain ways during races, the player will gain 'fan points'. These points help the player progress through the career, purchase more cars and earn more fans for the user base. During the single player, challenges will take place. Completing short challenges (e.g. shoot another car with a certain weapon, or complete a lap under given time) will reward the player with a fan point boost. Players can use the Share button, and post their achieve-ments to Twitter or Facebook. The core deliverable of this project comprises of a game package that contains all third party and middleware solutions embedded. The package is a fully installable setup program that works on Microsoft Windows 8.1 RT and Mobile devices.

KINECT BASED ENHANCEMENT OF COGNITIVE ABILITIES
Lacking cognitive abilities mean one cannot focus on something for
more than a few seconds or minutes and is unable to perform easy task of
communication, difficulty in learning new things and have hard time in
remembering things, lack simple problem solving skills. In our project we
have proposed a solution to this problem by developing a Kinect based
application EoCA. This application will provide an intuitive and interac-
tive menu structure that allows the user to navigate and select different
exercises for the improvement of patient’s cognitive abilities. The system
will also test to evaluate the improvement in the abilities of the patient.
Kinect tracks a skeletal scan and distance of the patient from the
sensor and will take input from the patient which they will provide in
form of hand gestures and movements. The project also includes main-
taining a database of the system. This will allow the doctor to add, edit or
delete the patient. The application allows the patient to perform exercise
and his answers of the given questions in the exercise will be recorded.
Patient will perform exercise mainly by the movement of his hands. Exer-
cise screen will show different questions/scenarios and answers of the pa-
tient will be analyzed by his gestures using Kinect sensor. Every answer
of the patient will be recorded in the database. Once the patient is done
doing exercise and the doctor closes the exercise screen. The database cal-
culates the daily progress of the patient and on the basis of that daily pro-
gress doctor records his remarks. The platform of the project will be Mi-
crosoft Windows and it will be developed using C#.
The target population of our project is patient with neurological de-
fects, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), autistic chil-
dren, mentally retarded and children with learning difficulties and the tar-
get age is 2 to 60 years. The scope of work is limited to tracking hand
movement via Kinect and the decision support structure will be based
upon it.

MOBILE CLOUD FOR COLLABORATIVE SEARCH
In today’s world more people are adopting travelling by air due to
business, tourism and family requirements. In future, most of these poten-
tial passengers will use smart phones and tablets more than the internet
usage through laptops or desktops. Keeping in view the future require-
ments, many airports like Heathrow, Bristol, Schiphol, Munich etc. pro-
vide state of the art mobile applications for their customers. However,
currently no such facility exists in Pakistan. The proposed project will
provide android based mobile application for various airport related fea-
tures including airport map, location of various services on airport includ-
ing specific airline counters, departure gates, restaurants, shops, customs,
arrival hall etc. The mobile app will also provide information about flight
status and respective gates. Additionally as new Islamabad Airport is in
development phase, the proposed application will be made keeping in
view the new infrastructure for future passenger’s facilitation through

SERVERLESS TRACKING AND SPYING APPLICATION
This is a C# application that allows users of a network to find an available and active workstation without wasting any time. Another major objective of this project is to allow the network administrator to have his network and the workstations on it under observation. An administrator can view the statuses of each workstation where the GUI provides a view exactly replicating the network its self. The system saves and maintains a log of the time for which each workstation has stayed active on the network which can be later viewed in a user friendly (graphical) at a later time if required. The system prevents and IP conflict taking place. The system can sign up an administrator who has to present a pass code provided by the authority manually to a new network administrator. After a few security levels and checks the administrator is provided with a user name and password. A attractive and a user friendly GUI helps the admin-istrator to setup and view each division of his network separately (hawk eye view). The administrator can ping an individual workstation with sim-ply right clicking on it or can ping multiple workstations by providing the system with the desired IP addresses. The administrator can have a graph generated with a single click for any division of his network and view the progress of all the workstations of that division. Similarly graphs for each individual workstation and of the complete network can also be gener-ated. Each workstation will have three different colour codes on it (one colour at one time), where for the administrator red depicts off line, yel-low depicts a workstation that went off line just recently and green depicts that the workstation is responding to the ping requests and is working fine. For the network users red means the same as that for the administra-tor, yellow mean the system is working fine but is occupied and green means the system is available for work. The application is useful for instructional and educational institutes which have labs for the students. It can be helpful in any other setup that has a networking being monitored by administrator.
