• A pastoral programme that nurtures students personally, socially and academically.
• All students in grade 9 will be assigned to an Advisory.
• Each Advisory will consist of about 12 students and 1 Advisor (a grade 9 teacher).

• The Advisor will remain the "key point of contact" between the school and family throughout the year.
• Students will report to Advisory each morning at 8:45am.
• Students’ organizational preparation (use of a Planner), attendance, and uniform and will be reviewed each morning.

• Further details about a recommended vendor for purchasing will be forwarded to all parents shortly.

• Registration for teams, activities or clubs will take place through Advisory.
• CIS Husky teams compete within ACSIS (Athletic Conference Singapore International Schools).

• 2-3 practices or games per week, per team.
• Season 1 sport/athletic choices include: Football, Volleyball, Cross Country for both girls and boys teams.
• Grade 9's that will be 14 years of age (or younger) after June 1st, 2013 are also eligible to play 14&U badminton, cricket and cross country

• Will take place on Pulau Ubin, Singapore September 11-14 for all grade 9's.
• Learning opportunities for our students will include team building, experiential learning, personal and leadership development and wilderness awareness.
• Students sleep at base camp and enjoy land and sea expeditions and confidence-trust building activities on a ropes course daily.

• A pre-course consultation presentation will take place in August with OBS staff.
• All OBS staff are skilled trainers who specialize in risk assessment, wilderness first aid, life saving, climbing and expedition planning.
• Our CIS programme has been collaboratively planned by OBS and CIS faculty and Administration in order to meet the learning needs of our students.
