Global warming makes all human beings in danger. As scientific knowledge and means of dealing with the climate issues, low carbon knowledge need be spread, and we teenagers have responsibility to do it. After Copenhagen climate issue, we found, one big obstacle of our action for remitting global warming is the national interest and the disagreements between different countries. However, remitting global warming cannot be done by one person, one community or one country. We hope all human beings could connected, try together to change the world.

AIESEC doesn’t only do exchange, but also cares about public welfare and social issues actively. The problem of environment has been a serious challenge facing the human. Government, company and individual must take action to reduce the carbon dioxide to protect our environment! AIESEC makes use of its worldwide impact, builds platforms, organizes all kinds of activities to promote the idea of Green Power Life and environment protection. Simultaneously, it involves international trainees to participate in, and realize the fact that the human being face the threat of environment worsen and resource drain with joint effect.

Green Power Now has already been successfully launched from AIESEC SYSU, for 7 terms，in Zhuhai. In last term, we influenced more than 1000 students, and we involved about 50 volunteers，most of them realizing the meaning of green power life and paying action. GPN aims at providing global view for youth and raising their awareness about energy issues in China through AIESEC international exchange platform, by cooperating with schools, corporates, NGOs and bringing in international volunteers to offer courses related to green power and help the students become future leaders in Green field with strong social responsibility. The program aims to educate the future generation about the environment and empower them to become environmental and social leaders of their community.

Week 1: 1 Get to know our amazing Canton culture! Welcome party. 2 Discuss the course that will be delivered to the children and students.3 Prepare for the class and do the rehearsal.

1 Teach in high schools about environment. 2 Participate in some activities in School or Organic Farm.3 Design and organize activities about environment.

Week 61 Participate in some cultural experience that is prepared for you!2 Finish the impact report( and make a video for the project ) 3 Farewell Party.

Zhuhai is a prefecture-level city on the southern coast of Guangdong province in China. Located in the Pearl River Delta, Zhuhai borders Jiangmen to the northwest, Zhongshan to the north, and Macau to the south. Zhuhai is also one of China's premier tourist destinations, being called the Chinese Riviera. What’s more, Zhuhai has become the most livable city in China.

---Robin ( Germany ):The teaching and preparation improved also my speaking in front of people and encouraged me to do it more often having these good experiences in the background. I also liked it to take responsibility and show leadership within the group and that was one of the most important reasons why I took the project. I am happy with the way the whole project went until now although there is always room for improvement, but that is why you normally take these projects –you want to improve something and yourself and grow by it, so you can make it even better the next time, even if it was already pretty good.

---Giorgia ( Italy ):I really appreciated this job. I was excited to take on this newchallenge; it was a double challenge for me: practice teachingin English. I remember the first day, I was seriously nervous,and it wasn’t good first of all for me but for the student too. Itwas very difficult for me to prepare and to learn the lessons,and during the first days I worked a lot but I was discouragedbecause I didn’t trust in me, in my possibilities. I think thatthis kind of problems are normal when counted with new thingsand are necessary for became better and stronger. After a fewdays all changed and I acquired a new confidence in myself andin social relationships and the lessons gave me greatsatisfaction. I liked work in team and I like teach.Environmental conservation is particularly important for me soI really liked try to explain and to teach to other person thisthings. It was a great experience.

---Laira ( Philippines ):Overall, I felt very great and overwhelmed that we did it and we finished the classes and gained a lot of experience in just about a month. It was tiring, but everything was surely worth sharing to everyone back in my country. I am very happy seeing the students enjoying our class and seeing them very excited when we are having classes. I know that not all classes are perfect, but what’s important is we gave our best and we left a memory in the students’ life. I hope they learned many things from us because we learned a lot from them. This experience is not just the students learning from us, but is also about us, learningfrom them.
