Qualified CE&I Technician at Sellafield Ltd Feb 2008 – Sept 2013
During my time at Sellafield I have worked in the fuel handling plant, working on essential plant instrumentation systems, including: - Flow, Levels, temperature, radiometric, pressure, load cells, gas analysers and scada/ DCS systems. I have work extensively on inlet cell inspection camera systems, this included the installation of new camera systems, re-commissioning old systems and fault finding when the system went down. These camera systems needed to be working correctly for the plant to be operational, whilst working on them I have shown I can work to under pressure and to time restraints. Other commissioning work I have work on is the installation of gamma monitors the AGM 2 models in the FHP. Flask bolting tools working alongside Christies commissioning team. This included testing the newly installed system and programming the control PLC to bring the system into service. All these newly installed system are currently operational in the FHP.
On the electrical side, I have work on all voltages up to 415V. I am currently a nominated person this enables me to isolate items of plant for myself and other to work on. The installation of drive systems for overhead cranes, maintenance on overhead cranes and hoist and the installation of in cell lighting.
Experience Sept 2004 - Feb 2008
