GovWiFi – Connection Setup Guide for MacOS (English)

• Click “AirPort” icon, select “Turn On Airport” and then select “Create Network”.

• Select “AirPort” in the left window.

• Select “Remember any network this computer has joined”, then click the “+” icon.

-- Encrypted Connection (freegovwifi-e) Setting --

• Enter “freegovwifi-e” in “Network Name”. • Select “WPA2 Enterprise” for “Security”. • Enter “govwifi” (without the double quotes) in both “User Name” and

“Password”. • In “802.1X”, select “Automatic”, click “Remember this network” and then click

“Add”.

• Enter “freegovwifi” in “Network Name”. • Select “None” for “Security”, click “Remember this network” and then click

“Add”.
