Involves Cain, Abel, a Bangladeshi woman named Aisha and herentire Muslim family. Based from the other reviews that I have readabout this movie, it falls under comedy given the fact that FernandoColomo (the film director) is one of Spain's top comedy directors.Yes, there were a few scenes from here and there that tickled myfunny bones but as a whole, I find this movie very heartwarming andsomewhat dramatic. Cain in this film is very different from Cain in

the Bible. His life may seem pathetic and plain as compared to hisbrother's, but this guy has a few trick up in his sleeves which willmake you fall for him the way Aisha's entire family did. What littlelight that this movie shed about Muslim families and some of theirpractices will go a long way.

EL Benny

"El Benny", the first full feature motion picture based on the life ofBenny Mor, the greatest Cuban musician of all time, who died fartoo young yet profoundly changed the course of Latin music forever.

More famous during his lifetime in Venezuela and Mexico than in hisown home country of Cuba, he was asked in 1957, not long before hedied, to play at the Oscars in Los Angeles.

Never having formally studied music, he arranged big bandorchestras and combos from the music he heard in his head and feltin his soul without being able to read or write music. A true musicalgenius, Benny was a man of supreme charisma and passion, but hisattraction to the night, the women and the partying excesses led to

his untimely death. His legacy is still felt today in most contemporaryLatin music.

This movie, a co-production between Coral Capital Entertainment andthe Cuban film institute ICAIC, finally brings to the big screen, inCinemascope and Dolby 5.1, this passionate story of music, love,genius, violence, and tragedy set in Havana during the 40s and 50s.
