WAY FORWARD
Gradually, all levels of
government – national, state
and local – will apply
GGP. “GGP will be the norm in government
procurement, further evolving into socially
responsible public procurement (SRPP) and
public procurement promoting innovation (PPPI),
which constitutes the most advanced wave of
government procurement.”
It will be imperative for all procurement
officers in Malaysia to undergo systematic
GGP training. Train-the-trainers modules
will increase the institutional capacity to
provide such training.
