    Day 02, 5 APRIL 2011BLED- BOHINJ RADOVLJICABreakfast in hotelA sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town with the lakeshore, andimposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. You will also havethe possibility to take a boat ride to the island in the lake of Bled, visit the baroquechurch and toll the bell. Then continue to the other alpine beauty the BohinjLake. The route will take you to Stara Fuzina where you will visit the Sheppardsmuseum and taste the best Slovenian cheese. Free time in Bohinj until your returnto Bled. In the evening travel to Radovljica and take a walk through this pictur-esque town until dinner with typical Slovenian cuisine and the visit of the Lectar

    Day 02, 5 APRIL 2011KRANJSKA GORA KOBARID NOVA GORICABreakfast in hotelAfter breakfast travel to Kranjska Gora, the idyllic mountain resort under theJulian Alps. Continue to Bovec. Enjoy lunch in Bovec and taste a local special des-sert the Bovec pockets. After lunch continue to Koarid and visit world famousWorld War I museum. Continue to Nova Gorica for overnight.     After breakfast travel to Gorika Brda, the biggest and the best wine-growing re-gion of western Slovenia. Full day dedicated to the secrets of this hilly region. Firststop at the towns of Gonjae and martno. Enjoy lunch with wine tasting at a localtourist farm. Return to Nova Gorica for overnight. (B,L)

    Day 05, 8 APRIL 2011THE KARST REGION WITH TANJEL AND LIPICABreakfast in hotelIn the morning departure from Nova Gorica and travel to the charming medievaltown of tanjel. The region of Karst is know for its dark wine Teran and Karst coldcuts- among which the most famous is the Karst prosciutto. Tasting at one ofthe famous local wine producer.     PIRAN MARJE POMJAN - PIRANBreakfast in hotelIn the morning visit the picturesque town of Piran, known as the birth place of thefamous composer and violinist Guiseppe Tarini. Then travel to Seovlje and visitthe salt pans where the salt has been harvested for more than 400 years. Visitan local wine cellar. We will end our day in the medieval town of Pomjan with ashort walk through the town and enjoy a typical dinner of Slovenian Istra. Returnto Piran for overnight. (B, WT, D)

    Day 07, 10 APRIL 2011PIRAN POSTOJNA LJUBLJANABreakfast in hotelMorning at leisure in Piran until departure for Postojna. After lunch in a localtourist farm visit the Postojna caves, one of the biggest and the most impress-ing caves in Europe. After the visit of the caves, well stop also at the Predjama

    castle before arrival to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. The rest of the day atleisure in Ljubljana. (B,L)

Visit themost significant sights of the old city centre: the picturesque Central open-airMarket and the Three Bridges, both designed by famous architect Joze Plecnik,the Baroque Town Hall and the Robbas Fountain. After lunch in a localrestaurant visit the Maribor tunnel wine cellar which is one of the greatest winecellars in Europe and is located in the centre of the city. Continue to Ptuj for shortwalking tour of the city and overnight. (B, L)

    Day 10, 13 APRIL 2011THE PREKMURJE REGIONBreakfast in hotelAfter breakfast travel to Prekmurje, the north-eastern flat part of Slovenia. Enjoylunch in a typical restaurant. The tour of the region will include the visit of themiles on the Mura River, of a typical local pottery and some other ethnologicalattractions of Prekmurje. (B, L)

Enjoylunch at a local wine producer before going on to the wine-growing area ofBizeljsko. End your day with tasting of sparkling wines at the famous producerof the region. (B, L, WT)
