Under the direction of the three Gough brothers and their staff, the company has grown from a one man operation on a 100sq m site to a vibrant company of 35 employees operating out of their 6000 sq m Bohle industrial site.

The company originally started out as a roto moulding only business and quickly diversified into plastic fabrication as well and developed a reputation as innovators in the market.

The company operates across a diverse range of markets, including mining, industrial, agriculture and environmental, which enables the team at Gough Plastics to be exposed to the latest developments in design, process and technology which can then be put to use for the benefit of all.

As the moulding side of the business grew, it became apparent that plastic welding and fabrication was essential to the future development of the business and this side of the business has continued to grow with industry acceptance of plastics.

The ability to provide one-off and short runs of specially designed equipment to meet customer requirements has enhanced the company’s capabilities.

In recent times the team has completed a design and construct package for a

major supplier of chemical dosing equipment to the water treatment and gas industries. This included bunding, storage tanks and steel support structures for raised tanks.

The team at Gough Plastics is also currently working on several projects of interest, one requiring conical based tanks mounted in support frames with built in agitation points for high SG materials. Also under construction are a series of truck water tankers.

The Gough Plastics team has the capabilities, technology and equipment at their disposal to tackle most projects in plastic and with the diversity of process to achieve the most cost-effective method of producing the goods.

The company is constantly reinvesting in its people, equipment, processes and technology to ensure the company can meet its customers’ needs and stay competitive and profitable in a highly competitive market place.

The Design Team at Gough Plastics includes an Industrial Designer and a Draftsman and utilizes SolidWorks and AutoCad and, in conjunction with the Sales and Production Teams, are looking forward to the future and working with their customers to provide the service and quality they require.
