- But there is a problem:
- If you simply patch the ClickOnce installer… it stops working!
- You must generate signed manifests for it.
- But recreating ClickOnce manifests manually can be a tedious process…
- Our tool helps you recreate the manifests in a few seconds!
- And it does not only apply to Azure! Also useful for NAV on premises.

13 Multi-Tenant ClickOnce Tool
- How does multi-tenancy affect ClickOnce installers?- Since each installer is signed, if you modify the .config file (or
anything else) then you must sign the installer manifests again.
- This forces you to maintain a separate ClickOnce installerfor each tenant, because each tenant has a different configuration.
- If you have several tenants, applying a hotfix or Cumulative Update will be a long, time-consuming process…
- Thus, we also offer you another tool that allows you to maintaina single ClickOnce installer for every tenant in a deployment.- With it, you will only have to patch one ClickOnce installer every time you
make a change.
