Google ExpeditionsGoogle Expeditions is a virtual reality teaching tool that lets you lead or join immersive virtual trips all over the world — get up close with historical landmarks, dive underwater with sharks, even visit outer space!

Step 2: Get the Kit

The Expeditions app is currently only available for Android devices but an iOS app is promised to be available soon.

> Press and hold on an image to highlight a region you want to discuss further.

> Allow students time to look around for exploratory discussions.

> The pause button naturally makes the students (explorers) remove the cardboard from their face. Good for redirecting the whole room.

> If dizzy, use the device in “full screen”. Just remove the device from the cardboard & press the “full screen” button.
