How to Add Article in Google Scholar

In order to submit an article in Google Scholar , prior to this

you have your own account in Goolge. So , first create an

Google gmail account.

First open Google browser and go to : www.gmail.com and

create an account.

After creating an account go to Google Scholar website :

http://scholar.google.co.in/

Sign in into google scholar on upper right corner denoted by

arrow.

Login into account by specifying email address and password

of gmail.

Now you are logged into Google Scholar account. It will

display your account name on upper right corner of window.

Click on My Citations it will display following window. Fill

all the details of step 1 : profile

Submitting the details as follow :

Fill the detail of affiliation , area of interest . If you have an

institution email address then only specify it otherwise leave it

blank.

It shows second step. With the help of this step you can add

previously published papers in Google Scholar. Only you have

to specify author name (you name ) , article title , co-author

etc. it will display all published articles list as follows.

For eg. author :”Rajani Kota”

It display all the articles published by specified author. Then

you can add that article in scholar by pressing Add article

button. Then it will go for next step.

When you publish new article whether you have to automatically update the list of

article in your profile then select first option Otherwise you think that list update

after confirmation then select second option.

Then click GO To My Profile link

Now your profile is private. You can make your profile as public my clicking Make

My Profile Public. If you have entered institution email then only it appears in

Google Search. Without verification of email it won’t appear in Google Scholar.

If you have to mention institution mail then click No verified email Edit button and

specify email.

When next time you logged into Google Scholar then it will shows direct profile

page as above.

Now when next time you have to submit an article then there are several option are

available below the citation table , select add option denoted by arrow

Then select Add article manually option

It will shows following window. Here you can submit Paper , Book , Thesis ,

Patent , Other published in journal , conference or in book. By filling all the details

you can save it in your profile.

Now, you add, delete submitted article from your profile.
