    VIDEO TIPS AND TRICKS

Remember, were not going for any Oscar worthy feature films here. We just want clear images and crisp audio that will get your message across without getting lost in translation.

For more in-depth tips on how to get the best video from your smartphone camera, check out the ebook produced and written by studio.UMFS, Tales of a Cellphonographer. (http://issuu.com/kerriestellagrinnage/docs/cellphonographer)

Make sure your subject (you, in this case) is well lit. If you have a single light source, like a lamp, make sure it is in

front of you, rather than behind.

Record in a quiet space. Since youre not using an external microphone, all of the sound in the space will be

recorded. So if you dont want to record the hiss of the air

conditioner, you should just turn it off.

    UPLOADING A VIDEO TO YOUTUBE

The videos should be shot with great thought and care given to HIPAA compliance. If at all possible, dont shoot the child at all and limit the use of verbal identifiers. This will provide an important layer of security.

To upload your video, select YouTube from your list of apps (Click the square icon next to your picture), and from there, please select Upload.

Drag your video onto the screen and change the privacy to Unlisted. No one will be able to search for your video and it will not show up in Youtube Recommended pages. The only way this video can be accessed is by providing someone with the URL.

Make note of the URL of the published video and send it to the facilitator. You will need it for the meeting.
