What can students do with Google Drive?

• Collaborative group writing – students can write essays or do other writing projects together using Google Docs

• General writing – students can do all their writing on Google Drive and submit it to you easily

• Peer editing – students can peer edit each other’s paper using Google Drive.

• Group presentations – students can create presentations together

• Contributing to a group document – the teacher can create a document which all students can contribute to. For example, class stories, notes, or worksheets.

With the other students, brainstorm some ideas for using the features of Google Drive you have just seen.

Giving an Assignment

Look at Activity 4

You can have students create documents, but sometimes its better to give them a template so all assignments are formatted and organized in the same way.

So, you can make a template.

How can you share a template URL?• Email – if you have a list of email addresses, you can send them

the template link• Blog/Website – if you have a website, you can post the link there• Goo.gl – use this URL shortener to give students a short link to the

template http://goo.gl/R0HDro• QR Code – Use www.goqr.me • Kakao – Share it through a Kakao message

• Make Kakao groups for each class!
