Good Work done by RPF Asansol Division up to October 2021 01.10.2021 Recovery of one left behind purse. On 01.10.2021, one person namely Rakesh Kumar Pandey, male, 23 yrs, S/O- Shashi Kant Pandey, a resident of East Plant Basti, Oriya Line, Burmalines JSR Golmuri cum Jugsalaj, PurbiSingbhum, Jharkhand, who was travelling, Ex- Tatanagar to Madhupur by train No. 08181 Up (Chhapra Festival Spl.). During de-boarding at Madhupur Rly station, he had left behind his purse in Coach No. S-1/39 of said train. Thereafter, the matter informed to RPFPost/Jasidih through SCNL/Asansol. When the said train arrived at Jasidih Rly station, on duty officers of RPFPost/Jasidihattended the said coach and recovered the purse and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. Later, the purse with full contentswas handed over to the actual owner under proper documentation and acknowledgment. Total valued Rs. 4500/-. 01.10.2021 Handing over of a TOPB criminal to GRPS, Madhupur. On 01.10.2021, one lady passenger, in course of her journey by Train No. 03675 ASN-JAJ MEMU Spl Ex-Asansol to Jasidih, noticed; when the train departed from PF no. 2 Madhupur Railway Station at about 11:42 hrs, one miscreant had snatched her mobile phone, de-boarded from running train and started running across the boundary wall adjacent to station road. On seeing, that a person was running fast in suspicious manner, on duty RPF staff of Madhupur Post immediately started to chase him and after a long hot chase the staff could able to detain him near railway Pumpu Talab. On interrogation the person admitted that he snatched a mobile phone of a lady passenger in MEMU train and tried to flee away. He also added that he threw the said phone in the bushes when he was being chased. Thereafter, as per the direction of the person, the stolen mobile phone was recovered from the bushes and brought him to the Post. On being asked the snatcher disclosed his identity as Md. Hakim Seikh @ Dima, male 27 years, s/o Md. Wasim Seikh, Village Lalgarh, behind Imambara, PS- Madhupur, Distt-Deoghar, Jharkhand. Thereafter the accused together with recovered mobile phone was brought to GRPS/Madhupur for further legal action. Being informed to the owner of mobile phone, the victim lady passenger namely Sonali Barnwal, F-20 years, D/o MunnaBarnwal, Village Kajara, PS- Andal, Distt- Paschim Burdwan (W.B.) also appeared at GRPS/Madhupur and lodged an FIR in this regard. Basing on the FIR, a case vide no 34/21, dated 01.10.2021, U/S 379/411 IPC has been registered against the arrested person. Value of the recovered mobile is Rs. 12000/-.

01.10.2021 Recovery of one left behind purse.

On 01.10.2021, one person namely Rakesh Kumar Pandey, male, 23

SCNL/Asansol. When the said train arrived at Jasidih Rly station, on duty officers of RPFPost/Jasidihattended the said coach and

recovered the purse and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. Later, the purse with full contentswas handed over to the actual owner under proper documentation and acknowledgment. Total valued Rs.

4500/-.

01.10.2021 Handing over of a TOPB criminal to GRPS, Madhupur.

On 01.10.2021, one lady passenger, in course of her journey by Train No. 03675 ASN-JAJ MEMU Spl Ex-Asansol to Jasidih, noticed; when the train departed from PF no. 2 Madhupur Railway Station at about 11:42 hrs, one miscreant had snatched her mobile phone, de-boarded from running train and started running across the boundary wall adjacent to station road. On seeing, that a person was running fast in suspicious manner, on duty RPF staff of Madhupur Post immediately started to chase him and after a long hot chase the staff could able to detain him near railway Pumpu Talab. On interrogation the person admitted that he snatched a mobile phone of a lady passenger in MEMU train and tried to flee away. He also added that he threw the said phone in the bushes when he was being chased. Thereafter, as per the direction of the person, the stolen mobile phone was recovered from the bushes and brought him to the Post. On being asked the snatcher disclosed his identity as Md. Hakim Seikh @ Dima, male 27 years, s/o Md. Wasim Seikh, Village Lalgarh, behind Imambara, PS- Madhupur, Distt-Deoghar, Jharkhand. Thereafter the accused together with recovered mobile phone was brought to GRPS/Madhupur for further legal action. Being informed to the owner of mobile phone, the victim lady passenger namely Sonali Barnwal, F-20 years, D/o MunnaBarnwal, Village Kajara, PS- Andal, Distt- Paschim Burdwan (W.B.) also appeared at GRPS/Madhupur and lodged an FIR in this regard. Basing on the FIR, a case vide no 34/21, dated 01.10.2021, U/S 379/411 IPC has been registered against the arrested person. Value of the recovered mobile is Rs. 12000/-.

05.10.2021 Recovery of one left behind luggage.

On 05.10.2021 at about 11:00 hrs. on receipt of information from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind of one luggage in Train No. 02303 Up by one bonafide passenger, officer and staff of RPF Post Madhupur attended the said train and recovered the said luggage. At about 13:45 hrs one person

came at RPF Post/Madhupur and disclosed his identity as Davinder Singh S/O- Amarjit Singh of Vill- Pattybala, P.S- Nathana, Dist- Bhatinda (Panjab) and claimed his luggage with providing his journey details, which was containing one Passport and wearing clothes, worth Rs. Rs 10,000/- (approx.). After proper identification and verification, the said items were handed over to the above person under proper acknowledgement.

06.10.2021 Recovery of left behind bag.

On 03.10.2021 at about 18:45 hrs a massage received regarding one

polybag left behind in Train No. 02339 Up, coach No. C-2, berth No. 65 (Coalfield Exp. Spl)at Howrah Railway Station of one passenger

namely Ramesh Chandra Saraf having PNR No.6819199673 EX-HWH to DHN. After receipt such information on duty officer of RPF Post/Panagarh immediately attended the said coach and recovered

the same polybag arrived at Panagarh Rly station. On 06.10.2021, actual owner of the said bag and his wife came to RPF Post/Panagarh.

After proper verification & documentation the recovered poly bag containing 03 nos. of AADHAR Card, 02 Nos. of ATM Card of Bank of Baroda, 01 No. of Driving License, 02 Nos. of PAN Card & his

medicines valued Rs- 3000/-(Approx.) was handed over to its actual owner.

07.10.2021 Recovery of country made liquor

On 07.10.2021, acting on source information regarding carrying of liquor through Railway, a joint raid and search was conducted jointly by officers & staff of RPF/POST/Jasidih and CIB/RPF/ASN in the Goods-Shed area of Jasidih Railway station. During raid an unaccompanied plastic bag was found in the south side of Railway track near Goods Shed. During search found the same was containing 46 nos. plastic bottles of country made

liquor having marked “Royal Jharkhand”, quantity 600 ml each, valued Rs. 110/- each, Total Value Rs. 5060/-. Accordingly, the said bag with containing items were seized as “Unclaimed” under proper seizure list by officer of RPF Post/Jasidih in presence of available witness at the spot and brought to RPF/POST/JSME for legal action. The seized items were handed over to GRPS/JSME under proper acknowledgment for taking legal action.

07.10.2021 Recovery of passenger belongings On date 07.10.21 at about 19.15 hrs, officers and staff of Madhupur/RPF Post along with Train escorting party recovered a cream colored bag with 03 plastic buckets from S/9 coach of T/No. 03105 as per information of SCNL/ASN. Later on, at about 19.40 hrs, one person namely Satyadev Singh, S/O- Late Rajvallam Singh of Vill-Bangra, Post-Nikhtikala, PS- Raghunathpur, Dist- Siwan Bihar came at the Post and told that on date he was travelling in S/9 Coach of T/No. 03105 from SDAH to CPR vide PNR no. 6757005715 with his luggage. At about 18.15 hrs when the train reached at the ASN station he de-boarded from the train for taking water. In the meantime train had started but he could not board in train, thus he was left behind on platform. Further he met with on duty RPF staff at PF and asked for help. Thereafter, the person attended at RPF Post/ Madhupur and checked his bag when 03 plastic buckets were found intact along with some apparels worth Rs 3000/-. Thereafter 03 plastic buckets were handed over to him under proper documentation and acknowledgment.

07.10.2021 Rescue of one minor boy

On 07.10.21 at about 23.45 hrs information was received from SCNL/ASN for attending A-3 Compartment of train No 02311up (Kalka Mail).

Accordingly, officers and staff of RPF post Durgapur in attended the said coach of the train at about 23.52 hrs on arrival at PF no. 03 of Durgapur Railway Station and met with the on duty train escorting party in-charge of Howrah Division where one minor aged boy aged about 12 yrs with 02 hand bags, 01 pithu bag and 01 white colour plastic Bora, was handed over to officers and staff of Durgapur with report that during boarding at BWN railway station the parents of the minor boy were left behind as they could not board in train at scheduled stoppage and train had started. Hence, the train escorting party rescued the said minor boy with the luggage and handed over to the officers and staff of RPF Post Durgapur in presence of on duty TTE /Sri Samresh Sarkar (HWH). Later on, after being informed to his parents father of said minor boy namely Tasibul Ansari, resident of Rejla para, PS- Harihar para, Dist - Murshidabad (WB) 742303 attended RPF Post Durgapur and identified his son as Akash Ansari, age-12 yrs. After proper verification the said minor age boy along with luggage was handed over to his father Tasibul Ansari.

07.10.2021 Rescue of one injured person

On 07.10.2021, in course of duty of officer of RPF Post Jasidih, at about 15:10 hrs information was received regarding lying of one male person at Km No- 321/14-16 near Gate No- 29 in between Jasidih- Sankarpur, outside the DN track. On the basis of information officer and staff of RPF Post Jasidih visited that place and saw one male person was lying at that place and his right wrist amputedfrom right hand and the same was under DN line. Officers of GRPS/JSME along with staff reached at PO at 15:15 hrs. After that injured person was admitted in Sadar Hospital, Deoghar in Ward no- 23 and bed no- 03 for medical treatment. The relatives of the injured person reached Sadar Hospital, Deoghar and the person could be identified as Dilip Panday (Male, 45yrs), S/O- Palo Panday, resident of Gadahidand, PO- Maledih, PS- Jasidih, Dist- Deoghar(JH). Injured person stated that he was travelling ex- Baidnathdham to Asansol by Passenger Train, his UTM No- 6247338, when the train departed Jasidih Station at 02:30 hrs, after some time he has fallen out off the train after feeling dizzy.

08.10.21 Rescue of Child On 08.10.2021 at about 11.09 hrs. Train No.02288 DN was passing through Panagarh Railway station. On duty officer & staff of RPF Post/Panagarh noticed that one boy was swinging by holding of coach door handle in said running train and the said door was closed from inside. After seeing this, the officer immediately consulted with Asansol Control for stoppage of the train. Accordingly said train had stopped at Paraj Railway station & further informed to on duty RPF of Paraj Railway Station to detain the said boy & brought to RPF/Post/Panagarh. Further on being asked he disclosed that he run away from his house on 07.10.2021 and also he disclosed his name as Abhishek Kumar M-15 S/O- Satendra Kumar Yadav of Village-Banglapar, PS-Harnaut, District-Nalanda (Bihar). Later on, his father namely Satendra Kumar Yadav was contacted over mobile phone no.8227084628 and on 09.10.2021 his father came to RPF Post Panagarh and gave proper identification. After that the minor rescued boy was handed over to his father with proper identification and acknowledgement.

09.10.2021 Recovery of Foreign liquor:- On 09.10.2021 at 21:30 hrs on the basis of information of PC/Jashidh, on duty staff of RPF Post Jasidih made search in coach no- S-4 of train no. 08603 UP (RNC- Gooda EXP). In course of checking, one red colored bag was noticed which was kept beside bathroom of coach no. S-4. On being asked to the available passenger nobody came forward as the claimant of the bag. Subsequently, the bag was de-trained from the coach and found i) 01 no bottle of “McDowell’s No-01”, 750 ml price-700/- Rs and 01 no bottle of “McDowell’s No-01”, 180ml, price- Rs.174/-, (ii.) 01 no 600ml. “Royal Jharkhand” bottle, valued Rs.110/- iii) 05 nos. bottle, “Imperial Blue”, 180 ml each, cost of each Rs- 174/-, total Rs (5 x174= 870/-, (iv) 22 nos, bottle, Jharkhand made liquor brand “Laila”, 300 ml each, cost of each Rs-40/-, total Rs (22X40=880/-), (v) 01 no bottle, “Contessa”,750 ml, price- Rs.150/- total worth Rs. 2884/-. The recovered materials were seized under proper seizure list by officer of RPF Post/Jasidih in presence of available witnesses and the same was brought at RPF Post Jasidih. Thereafter, completing all legal formalities the seized materials together with relevant documents were handed over to Excise Department of Deoghar for taking necessary legal action in the purview of Excise Act.

10.10.21 Rescue of Children

On 10.10.2021 Lady Officer of RPF Post/Jasidih was the Duty Officer at Jasidih Railway Station. During her duty period after departure of train No. 63561 from Jasidih Railway Station, one lady passenger informed to the officer that she was travelling with her 02 grandsons namely 1)Sivam Kumar, Age about 09 yrs&2) Sahil Kumar, Age about 07 yrs both S/O Sri Sujit Kumar of Vill- Tungi, Nalanda, Bihar by said train. When she had de-boarded from the train in order to attend nature’s call, in the meantime the train had left and she could not re-board into the train, resulting her both grandsons were left behind in the train and no other adult person accompanied her grandsons. Accordingly, the lady officer came on prompt action and informed to officer of RPF Outpost/Simultala. On getting information the officer of RPF Outpost Simultala along with on duty staff immediately rushed to attended the said coach of the train at Simultala Railway station and started searching her grandsons. During search both children were rescued from the coach and de-trained at Simultala and brought to RPF Outpost Simultala where food was provided to both the children. Later, the lady namely Maro Devi, Grandmother of the rescued children attended at Simultala railway station, where both of her children were handed over to the lady on proper documentation and acknowledgement. The said lady thanked to RPF personnel in writing for extending help to her.

12.10.2021 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 12.10.2021 at about 19:50 hrs an information received from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind of one Bag in Train No. 08603 Up, in coach No. D-5, Seat No. 55 & 56 and passenger detrain at Katrashgarh Rly station. When the said train arrived at Chittaranjan Rly station, on duty officer and staff of Out Post/Chittaranjan attended the said train and recovered said black & blue colour bag containing wearing cloths and documents, and mobile charger. On 13.10.2021, at about 06:10 hrs. namely Upendra Kumar S/o- Sharwan Kumar Yadav, a resident of National Argarpathra, Katras, PS+Distt- Katrash, Jharkhand came to RPF

Post/Jamtara. After proper identification and verification, the said items were handed over to the above person under proper acknowledgement. Valued Rs- 3,000/-.

12.10.2021 Rescue of one girl.

On 12.10.2021 at 10:00 hrs. during round , on duty officer of RPF

Post/Jasidih noticed that one young girl aged about 23 yrs roaming in suspicious manner at PF No- 01 near Main Gate of Jasidih Railway station. On being asked she disclosed her identity as Krishna, aged 23 yrs, D/o- Lav Ji, a resident of Piyaria, Post- Aundi, P.S- Fefana, Dist- Baliya (Utter Pradesh) and stated that she fled away from her house due to family discord and now want to go home. Accordingly, her father has been contacted & rescued young girl was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih and provided Food & tea for refreshment. On 13.10.2021, at about 02:00 hrs. her father person namely Lav Ji along with other family member came to RPF Post/Jasidih and identified his daughter. The said rescued girl was handed over to her father after proper verification under proper acknowledgement.

15.10.2021 Rescue of one minor girl.

On 15.10.2021 during round officer and staff of RPF Post/Asansol (W) rescued one minor girl loitering aimlessly at PF No. 07 of Asansol Rly station. On being asked she disclosed she is a an orphan and also disclosed her identity as Muskan Khatun (14 year) of Satuatand, P.S-Karmatand, Dist -Jamtara(JH). She wished to move Kolkata for work. Later, She was brought to RPF Post/Asansol (W) and informed to Child Line Asansol. After observing all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to Child line Asansol, for further disposal under proper acknowledgement.

16.10.2021 Recovery of one left behind bag.

On16.10.2021 at about 09:00 hrs. a complaint was received from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind of a black colourpitthu bag on PF No.03 of Durgapur Railway station, containing 01 power bank, I-card, health card

and personal belongings, lodged by one Guddu Singh through Rail Madad. Inthis respect on duty officer of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the noted place at PF No. 03 and recovered the said pithu bag and kept in safe custody at RPF Post/Durgapur. Accordingly, the matter was informed to actual owner. At about 10:10 hrs. the owner of said pithu bag arrived at RPF Post/Durgapur where he stated that he had to go to Asansol from Durgapur by staff shuttle train, on arrival the train mistakenly his bag was left behind on PFNo. 03. After proper verification the said bag was handed over to him. Value assessed of said bag approx. Rs 2500/- only.

16.10.2021 Rescue of one minor girl.

On 16.10.2021, at about 13.00 hrs.during round, officer and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara noticed one girl was roaming alone at JamtaraRly station PF No. 02. On being asked she disclosed her identity as Priya Kumari (F-16 yrs), D/o- Dinesh Sharma a resident ofBagberaNayabasti, 01 No. Road, Jamshedpur, P.S- Bagbera, Dist-East Singhbhum (JH) and stated that she ran away from her home on 13.10.2021 and on 16.10.2021, she came at Jamtara Railway Station from Patna by Train No.08184 DN. The said rescued girl was brought to RPFPost/Jamtara. Accordingly, the matter was informed to all concerned as well as her father over mobile No.8228814732 along with representative of Child Line/Jamtara (JH)for further disposal. Subsequently the rescued girl was handed over to Child Line/Jamtara, JH in proper documentation and verification.

17.10.2021 Injury of one male person.

On17.10.2021 at about 13.45 hrs. on getting information from Dy. Coaching/CNL/Asansol regarding one person was found injured near Km No.260/12 between Vidyasagar -Kasitar Rly station. Immediately on duty officer & staff of RPF/POST/Jamtara rushed to the P.O. at about 14.10 hrs. and found one male person was in injured condition. The said injured person was shifted to Sadar Hospital Jamtara by RPF vehicle with the permission of Local Police Narayanpur and GRP/Madhupur for medical treatment with the help of local people of KasetarRailway station area. On the way to hospital, the injured person disclosed his identity as Prem Chandra Thakur (M-21 Years) s/o Sri Rajendra Thakur a resident of Vill-Durgunia, PS- Chandan, Dist-Banka, Bihar and he also stated that he did not have any railway ticket. He also seems to be in intoxicated condition. Now his condition is stable and he is under treatment at Sadar Hospital/Jamtara. In this regard a memo was issued by SM/Vidyasagar. His family members were informed over phone.The injured person was

discharged from Sadar Hospital/Jamtara and handed over to his family member.

18.10.2021 Apprehension of one bike thief and handed over to GRPS/MDP

On date 18.10.2021 at about 12.40 hrs one boy namely Om Prakash Mahto,who came Madhupur station for obtaining pass from his father’s office/Madhupur i.e. in C&W office, seeing one person trying to steal his

bike parked there, started a hue and cry of thief-thief near main gate of Madhupur station. Immediately officers and staff of RPF Post Madhupur immediately rushed there and could able to apprehend one person in possession of a Motor bike vide registration No. JH 15C 3965 (Hero Honda Splender) at main gate. In the meantime, officer and staff of GRPS/MDP also reached the spot. On asking apprehended person disclosed his identity as Ajahar Ansari aged about 20 years s/o Rustam Miyan of Vill- Manjhladih, PS-Sarath, Dist. Deoghar (Jharkhand) and later handed over to GRP/MDP. Further one being search one local made old key (Honda made) was found from the possession of apprehended person which was seized by GRPS/MDP. On the basis of complaint lodged by Om Prakash Mahto a case vide no. 35/2021 u/s 379 & 511 IPC has been registered at GRPS/MDP.

19.10.2021 Rescue of one female person

On 19.10.2021 officer of RPF/POST/JSME during performing of duty

at Jasidih Railway Station while making round at PF no 04, noticed one girl sitting on PF no 4 in suspicious condition. After being

interrogated, the girl disclosed her identity as Archana Kumari, Female- 18 yrs, Daughter of Jairam Singh Ram of Krishna Colony, Searsole, Rajbari, AMC at Raniganj, Burdhman, West Bangal, PIN-

713358 and has run away from her home after quarrelling with her mother. the officer brought her to the post and informed to her family through mobile phone. Her father Jairam Singh came to the post with

his wife and identified the said girl. The said girl was handed over to her father on proper documentation and acknowledgement. The father

of the recued girl thanked to RPF personnel for extending help.

20.10.2010 Apprehension of one fake TTE:- On 20.10.2021 while Train escorting party was taking charge of train no. 05028 DN at Jhajha Rly. station at about 00.40 hrs then, some bona-fied passengers of coach No D-7 reported that one person was engaged with checking of tickets from the passenger and collecting money from them. On reasonable suspicion, the passenger of the said coach detained him in the train with his one fake name plate of train ticket examiner and one false reservation chart. On duty train escorting party in charge examined the person when he failed to give satisfactory reply about his act. Hence, the person was taken under custody. Accordingly, after arrival of the train at Jasidih Railway Station, the detained person was handed over along with his personal belongings to RPF Post Jasidih with a written complaint. The person was further examined and his statement was recorded when he disclosed his identity as Suraj Kumar, Male (21 yrs), S/O-Shivshankar

Mehra, R/O- Ward No – 05, Mirzapur, PO- Mirzapur, PS- Ladaniyan, Distt-Madhubani(Bihar) and stated that he was also a bonafied passenger of mentioned train and his berth no is 36 of coach no D/8 having PNR no 2428522301. Again, the personal search of the person was conducted in presence of available witnesses and found 1) One IRCTC E-ticket, 2) One fake name plate of Ticket examiner, 3) One brown colour wallet containing liquid Cash Rs- 2000/- (two thousand), 4) One Sky Blue colourRealme Mobile Phone having IMEI no 1) 863332047765253, 2) 863332047765246 with dual SIM Card No Jio- 8809337599, Idea- 7323951932 with one charger etc., which were seized and the person was taken into custody Under Section 12 of RPF Act. After observing all legal formalities, the arrested person with seized alamat and relevant papers was forwarded to the Officer In-Charge of GRPS/JAJ for taking lawful action. On the basis of written complaint, a case has been started at GRPS/JAJ vide Case No- 120/2021, Dtd- 20.10.2021, U/S- 419/420/467/468 & 471 IPC against the arrested person and the case has been endorsed to SI/ Udeshwar Soren of GRPS/JAJ for investigation.

21.10.2021 Recovery of one left behind Purse.

On 21.10.2021, on duty officer and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara station

has recovered a purse from VDS station near PF NO.1 and recovered

the said Purse and kept in safe custody at RPF Post/Jamtara. Accordingly,

the matter was informed to actual owner namely Sri Avnish Singh R/o

Balipur, PS-Baliour, Dist-Chanduli, UP, after searching of purse

found mobile number of actual owner of the said purse and

accordingly he was informed over phone for disposal of the same.

Later, actual owner arrived at VDS station and after proper

verification and documentation the said purse was handed over to

him. Value of the said purse was Nil as no any cash was kept by

owner but some documents like I-card was kept inside the purse.

21.10.2021 Recovery of one left behind trolley bag

On 21.10.2021 at about 20.35 hrscomplainant had complaint that his bag

was left behind in train No. 08603 Up Ranchi - Godda Exp. in Coach No.D-1

on berth No.47. On the basis of that information, officer and staff of

Chittaranjan(OP) reported to on duty officer and staff of RPF Post JMT.

Accordingly,officer and staff of Jamtara Post informed to on duty RPF staff

of Vidysagar Railway station for taking necessary action. On arrival of the

said train at VDS station on duty staff of Jamtara Post attended the said

train/coach and recovered the said bag and brought to RPF Post JMT and

informed to the complainant. Later on complainant namely Mr. Ritesh

Kumar arrived at RPF Post JMT and after proper verification and

documentation the said bag containing One Laptop of Dell Coy. RS. 70000/-

, One Luggage bag RS. 2500/- and one blanket, total valued Rs. 72500/-

handed over to him.

23.10.2021 Recovery of Left behind Trolley bag

On dt 23.10.21 at about 09.20 hrs on the basis of received information of

SCNL ASN regarding left behind of luggage of a bona-fide passenger in train

no 02393 up Exp, on duty staff of RPF Post Jamtara deputed at RPF out

PostChittaranjan Stationattended the said train just on arrivalof the train at

PF no 02 at about 10.00 hrs in coach no. S-2/37 and able to recover the

luggage said berth. At about 11.00 hrsthe owner of the bag arrived at RPF

Post Jamtara and disclosed his identity as Md Salim Khan of

Chandmari,Raigarh Chhattisgarh and also stated that while he was taking

water atChittaranjan station after deboarding from coach, in the meantime

the train started thus he was unable to board the train. Matter was informed

to on duty RPF Chittaranjanstn. Some wearing clothes was in trolly bag and

one child Jhulla on seat.Total value of luggage near about Rs 7000/-. After

proper verification and given a written applicationthe luggage was handed

over to him.

23.10.2021 Rescue of one Minor boy and Girl

On 23.10.2021 officer and staff of JasidihPost weremaking round at the

Jasidih Rly. station. During their round at about 20:25 hrs. they noticed one minor girl and boy were wandering aimlessly without any adult person at PF no. 02 near middle of FOB. On being interrogated by officer of the Jasidih Rly. Stn. they disclosed their names as i) Ishu Kumar, M(17 yrs), S/O- Rajendra Prasad Keshari, R/O- Naya Bazar, Buxar, Bihar, Pincode- 802101. ii) Ananya Kumari, F(16 yrs), D/O- Ravi Ranjan Upadhayay, R/O- Naya Bazar, Buxar, Bihar and also they disclosed that they fled away from their native place without any information to their family members and now wanted to go Haryana by train no. 03005 UP. Further, both children were rescued and brought to RPF/Post/JSME. this matter was informed to Childline/Deoghar. The said minor girl and the minor boy were handed over to Childline/Deoghar on proper documentation and acknowledgement.

23.10.2021 Rescue of one Minor Girl :-

On 22.10.2021 at about 23.10 hrs one minor aged girl about 17 years namely

Nikita Kumari D/O Bacha Singh R/O Dumri PS- ChhapraDist-Chhapra Bihar was

found roaming aimlessly & appeared to be in depressed manner at PF No.02

Panagarh Railway Station. In course of interrogation, it is learnt that she had fled

away from her house and arrived at Panagarh by Train No.02341 Up thereafter was

brought at RPF/Post/Panagarh. Later on, her elder brother namely Abhijit Singh

was contacted over phone no.7908208192 and it was revealed that the above

named girl had fled away from her house. In this connection a missing diary as well

as FIR has also been lodged in Local PS/Dumdum Vide case No.1161/2021 dated-

23.10.2021 U/S-363/365 IPC. Thereafter contact was made with Local

PS/Dumdum and on being confirmed, PSI/Hemanta Dewan of Dum Dum P.S. came

to this post with his staff along with Lady Police personnel and submitted a written

requisition with relevant documents for handing over of the rescued girl for further

judicial course of action. In this regard after completed all legal official formalities

the rescued girl has been handed over to PSI/Hemanta Dewan of Dum Dum Local

P.S. in presence of her elder brother namely Abhijit Singh and other available

witnesses with proper acknowledgement.

24.10.2021 Detention of a TOPB Criminal :-

On 24.10.2021, officer and staff of Chittaranjan have reported that on

24.10.2021 at about 10.00 hrs, during round at PF No.3 area of CRJ he

noticed that 01 person was moving in suspicious manner. Accordingly, the

person was detained and on being asked he disclosed his identity as Mithu

Kumar Sahi (M-25) s/o Jaiprakash Sahi r/o Govindpur, PS-Madhupur,

Dist- Deoghar, JH but failed to produce any legal authority of being on

platform. After that he was brought to RPF/OP/CRJ with one bag

containing some electrical items like wire and motor. On deep interrogation

he admitted that he has stolen said items from local area of Mihijam from a

house by breaking of lock. As such N.Kumar has searched that bag which

was in his possession and found the same. On this, the matter was

informed to Local PS/Mihijam for necessary action and the said person was

handed over to Local PS Mihijam after proper documentation for further

legal action with seized articles. The seized articles were valued approx.

Rs.25,000/-. In this regard Local PS/Mihijam has registered a case vide

No.91/2021, dt 24.10.2021 u/s 380 & 457 IPC against said arrested

person.

25.10.2021 Rescue of one Minor Boy

On 25/10/21 at about 18/55 hrs on duty train escorting party

RPF/Post/HWN from train no 02301 rescued one minor boy namely Taha Murtaza, male aged about 15 yrs, s/o Md.Murtaza of Sumera, P.O-Bara sumera, PS-Kurhani, District-Muzaffarpur , Bihar and

handed over to RPF/West/Post/ASN with a written complaint. Escorting party In- Charge stated that the boy was moving aimlessly

in coach no ER- 052007C of said train and he contacted with his father through mobile no 9199912086. Then his father stated that he is habitual and has been running away from home since 3days.After

that he was brought to the post and handed over to Railway child line asansol after proper verifiaction and acknowlegement for further

disposal please.

26.10.2021 Arrest of One TOPB Criminals and subsequent handing over to Local

PS:- On date 26.10.2021 LC/Ranymol Joseph and LC/Vidya SV both of RPSF/16th BN, Asansol were on routine morning walk, at East Cabin of Domohani Railway Colony, Asansol at about 05:40 hrs. Suddenly, one stranger later identified as Iswar Lal Das male-32 yrs S/O- Madan Lal Das of Railpar Ramkishun Dangal Asansol came with bike and snatched the gold necklace (weightage about 10 gms) of LC/ Ranymol Joseph from her posession and tried to flee away. After chasing the said person by both the LCs of RPSF/16th BN, Asansol the person was caught & also the gold necklace was recovered and brought to RPF/Post/ASN(East).Being arrived at

the post above lady constable made a complaint before Officer in charge of RPF/Post/ASN(East) duly briefing the fact and to take legal action.Accordingly, the said arrested person with his bike and gold necklace was forwarded & handed over to South Police station, Asansol. On the basis of written complaint a case vides no- 424/2022 dated-26.10.2021 U/S- 379/411 IPC has been registered at South police station Asansol against the arrested person. Value of the recovered item is about Rs46800/-.

28.10.2021 Recovery of left behind Wallet

On 28.10.2021, T/No. 05661,(Ranchi Kamakhya Exp.)arrived at PF

no-01. One passenger found a left behind wallet from coach no. D-04 seat no 15 from the said train and subsequently on arrival of said train on PF No. 01at about 02.58 hrs. co passenger handed over the

said wallet to on duty staff RPF/Post/Durgapur. Accordingly, the officer and staff informed the actual owner through mobile number.The owneridentified his wallet anddisclosed that during his

journey the said wallet mistakenly had left by him. Subsequently, the recovered wallet was handed over to actual owner after proper

verification and documentation. The wallet was containing cash Rs. 3540/- driving license,ATM card,voter card.

27.10.2021 Recovery of left behind Mobile On date 27.10.2021, during round by officer and staff of RPF/ Post

Sitarampur, found one mobile set was lying on PF No.3 of Sitarampur Rly

Stn.On the mobile set, call received from Md. Issuf Khan (@ Bhola Khan )

who told that the said mobile set belonged to him, which was got missing

when he boarded in Train no 03029 up Howrah - Mokama Special. The said

person Md. Issuf Khan also told that the mobile set wasREDMI (Valued

Rs.10,000/-) Company bearing number 9832812000. After receiving

information over mobile phone the said person attended at

RPF/Post/Sitarampur and submitted a written application demanding his

mobile set. The mobile set was handed over to him in OK Condition at

RPF/Post/Sitarampur after proper verification and documentation.

28.10.2021 Rescue of one minor Girl

On 28.10.21,at about 19:30 hrs on duty RPF staff of RPF Post Durgapur noticed a minor girl who was moving aimlessly near main gate at Durgapur Railway Station. On being asked, she disclosed her identity as Barsha Das(16 years) D/o Dhananjay Das R/o Vill- Kalkapur, P.S-Potka, Dist.- Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. On being enquired, it was found that the girl had been married a month ago and in morning of 28.10.21 she left her home without informing to her family and had planned to go to Dhanbad. Accordingly, she was brought to RPF/Post/Durgapur where she was kept in safe custody. Further, after medical examination from S.D.Hospital/Durgapur with normal reports, she was handed over to Railway Childline Asansol.
