GOOD NEWS UPDATE Our Sow a Seed of Faith campaign started back in August in celebration of 77 years of ministry at St. Matthew’s.

We requested seeds of $77 to be sown as a way to usher us into the next 77 years, with a goal of $7700.

Hallelujah and praise God - we asked and you responded - we have met our goal and then some! Thank you to each

person and each family (and even a dog!) for making this happen. It truly warms the heart to see the generosity

shown during this time.

You are invited to join the Chapel Class Sunday school class via

conference call as they study their weekly lesson. This is a

great way to move forward in your personal walk with Jesus

and to fellowship with familiar voices.

The Chapel Class uses a rotating schedule of 3 teachers: Dor-

othy Bisby, Johnny Jedkins, and Beatrice Turner. Anyone

is welcome to join in this conference call - we hope to hear you

on the line!

Got any kids or grandkids interested in tak-ing preparatory classes for Confirmation?

We’re looking for enough youth ages 12+ to start a class. We have Evan and Wesley

Hudgins on board - who wants to join them? More than likely, the class will be held online.

Gracious God, we sure do miss gathering in the Fellowship Hall for our pancake breakfast - we are craving that

socialization! With the patience, understanding, and perseverance God gave us, we will make it through this.

We did have a beautiful morning for serving the neighbors that drove by. We missed Stoney and Denise Stone-

burner’s leadership, as they were in North Carolina. Thanks to Boy Scout Troop 20 and their leaders, all

went smoothly and 50 to-go boxes were handed out.
