This tour is fantastic! You get to experience the shops similar to the ones from the TV Shows “Pawn Stars” and “Antiques Roadshow” as well as a very high end pawn shop. All in the Metro Detroit area. Always fun. Everyone says, I’m not going to buy anything. A cross between museum pieces and top hit gold records. This is where the TV shows are filmed: “Hard-Core Pawn meets The Antiques Road Show”. This tour starts at an up-scale coin shop, meet the famous Gold family of the well-known TV series “Pawnstars”. We will then tour DuMouchelle’s, which has been auctioning fine art since 1927. Lunch will definitely be delicious. If you have junk gold, like dental gold from your dentist, bring it for recovery. One person on this tour from last year, spent a couple of thousand on items she knew she wanted. You just never know. In addition to our tour of Du-Mouchelle’s, we will also experience an auction. You may want to bring a small item for a dealer to look at, maybe price. This is a very different type of tour.
