We had a good attendance on Sunday and everyone seemed happy and in good spirits. We also had several visitors with us. I know some were here for the Easter Holiday weekend. I hope everyone had a lot of fellowship and fun over this past weekend. It is also a great blessing to have such times to be with those we love on this earth. And although we have the privilege to celebrate the “Resurrection” of our Lord each and every first day of the week, it is still nice to enjoy some of these holidays from a secular standpoint. I also wanted to take a moment and commend our youth for all the good work they do. Sunday Evening after services, they spent over an hour picking up trash from Kearney to I-44. Some also picked up trash in the field next to our property that is always overrun with garbage. They did this as a part of the “adopt a highway program.” They all did a great job and had a lot of fun. I didn’t hear one complaint! I think we all could learn a lot from our young people and their willing- ness to serve God. I am so proud of them and thank God for our Youth group at K. E. Why not make an extra effort to let our young people know how much they are appreciated. K.E. YOUTH/ TRASH PATROL! I hope to see you all in services this coming Lord’s day! Until then, have a great weekend and put God first in all things. God Bless! *Ray Sullins*
