I saw a new heaven and a new earth… and
there shall be no more death, neither sorrow
nor crying, neither shall there be any more
pain…Behold, I make all things new… there
shall be no more curse: but the throne of
God and the lamb shall be in it… And there
shall be no night there…and they [the saints]
shall reign for ever and ever.
Revelation 21-22
Unto the angels hath [God] not put in subjection the

than the angels, crowned him with glory and honor,
and didst set him over the works of thy hands.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God,
be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1: 17
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1: 1
Why? Because God is a creator; and he created all things for his
pleasure. Revelation 4: 11
He created the earth to be inhabited. Isaiah 45: 18
He created man in his image to rule over the earth.
Genesis 1: 26
Man, the visible image of the invisible God.
Attributes: love, anger, mercy, forgiveness, etc.
Tri-partite being,
The soul under the control of the Spirit, and
the body under the direction of the Spirit filled
soul, man is the image of God.
Spirit, Soul and Body
His actions represent perfectly what God is doing
Genesis 1:1; “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
“…He hath established it, He created it not in vain,
He formed it to be inhabited. Isaiah 45:18
Isaiah 45:12 “I have made the earth, and created
man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out
the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.”
Genesis 1:26 And God said, “Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the foul of the air, and
over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in
the image of God created he him; male and female created
he them.
The man’s
actions reflected
perfectly the
input of God’s
Spirit.

Adam was not the finished product. He had PSD.

Angels are beings created before man.
Hebrews 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister
for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Adam’s commission was to multiply;
therefore God made them male and female.
The chief of those angels was Lucifer. Ezekiel 28: 12-15
“Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty…” “The anointed cherub…”
“Perfect in thy ways…till iniquity was found in thee…I will cast thee
as profane out of the mountain of God…”
“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy
wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground…”
What was the nature of his iniquity? Isaiah 14: 12-14
“I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of
God; I will sit upon the mount…; I will ascend above the heights of
the clouds; I will be like the most high.”
Here is what Jesus later told his disciples:
“I beheld Satan as lightening fall from heaven.” Luke 10: 18
With free will comes the potential to sin and die.
Without free will there is no possibility to love or to obey.
At this point in history, man was perfect, without sin; he was over the
works of God’s hands, and the image of God’s person.
Satan was in the earth, as a created being, subject to Adam’s authority.
And now the test Genesis 3: 1-5
Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which God
had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said ye shall not
eat of every tree of the Garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees
of the garden: but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth
know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye
shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

The Fall
The man’s actions reflected perfectly the
input of God’s Spirit. Making him, for the
time then present, the image of God.

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the
day that God created man, in the likeness of God
made he him; male and female created he them;
and blessed them and called their name Adam in
the day when they were created. Genesis 5: 1, 2
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be
fruitful and multiply and replenish [fill] the earth, and
subdue it and have dominion over…every living thing
that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1: 28
Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord
God had made. And he said unto the woman, “ ye shall
not eat of every tree of the garden?”
And the woman said unto the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of
the garden: but the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God
hath said, ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it lest ye die.”
And the serpent said unto the woman, “ : for God
doth know in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and ye
shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was
pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she
took of the fruit thereof and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with
her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they
were naked.

The Law and the Prophets
God made a covenant with Israel. We call it the Old Testament
It is recorded in Exodus Chapters 19 through 24.
They could never be made righteous by keeping it because they couldn’t.
Why, then, was it given? What purpose did it serve? Galatians 3: 19
Galatians 3:21 for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily
righteousness should have been by the law.
Hebrews 7:18, 19 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going
before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did;
It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to
whom the promise was made.
Now we know that what things so ever the law saith, it saith to them that are
under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may
become guilty before God Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no
flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:i9,20
Let’s look at God’s covenant with the children
of Israel. Exodus 19: 5, 6
“If ye will obey my voice and keep my covenant,
then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above
all people: for all the earth is mine: and ye shall be
unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation”
The people agreed Exodus 19:8
They wanted to hear what God said, but they
didn’t want to hear him say it. Exodus 20:19
God gave the law to Moses, and he gave it to the people and
again they agreed.
The Old Testament was crafted; a two-sided covenant
Sealed with the blood of bulls. Exodus 24: 3-8
All the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord hath
spoken we will do.”
And they said unto Moses, “Speak thou with us, and we will hear:
but let not God speak with us lest we die.”
And Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord, and all the
judgments: and all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the
words which the Lord hath said will we do.”
And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning,
and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars according to the twelve
tribes of Israel.
And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings,
and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the Lord. And Moses took half of
the blood, and put it in basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people:
and they said, “ and be obedient.”
And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold the
blood of the covenant which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these
words.”
“These Words” include the Ten Commandments and all that follow in
Exodus chapters 20 through 23.
All that the Lord hath said will we do
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being
witnessed by the law and the prophets; Romans 3:21
Jesus told the Pharisees, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have
eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to
me, that ye may have life.” John 5: 39, 40
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth,
Romans 10: 4
How did the prophets testify of Christ?Genesis 3: 15 The first promise of the Savior
Exodus 12 The description of the Passover lamb
Numbers 21: 8, 9 The serpent on the pole.
Isaiah 7: 14 The virgin birth
Micah 5: 2 The place of Jesus birth
Isaiah 53 The reason for his death
Psalm 22 The details of his death
That was the Old Testament (covenant). It was a two-sided contract
that could not save. “Because they continued not in my covenant,
and I regarded them not,” saith the Lord. Hebrews 8: 9
Finding fault with them he saith, “Behold the days come…when I will
make a new covenant with [them]. Hebrews 8: 8
There is a disannulling of the [Old covenant] for the weakness and
unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the
bringing in of a better hope did. Hebrews 7: 18, 19
For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh,
God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,
condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might
be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The Word
The Word is the eternal, immortal, immutable Creator. 100% God
Jesus was mortal, had a beginning,
was 100% human. Born of a woman,
without a human father. No sin nature.
When he cometh into the world, he
saith, “Sacrifice and offering thou
wouldest not, but a body has thou
prepared me.” Hebrews 10:5He took not on him the nature of angels;
but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Wherein in all things it behoved him to be
made like unto his brethren, that he might
be a merciful and faithful high priest in
things pertaining to God, to make
reconciliation for the sins of the people. For
in that he himself hath suffered being
tempted, he is able to succor them that
are tempted. Hebrews 2: 16-18
We have not an high priest which cannot be
touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but
was in all points tempted like we are, yet
without sin. Hebrews 4: 15

Jesus said, “I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh

Luke
4:1-13 He fulfilled it two ways.
1. He kept it perfectly, He was without sin.
2. He paid it’s full penalty for all sin.
He bore our sins in his own body on the
cross. 1 Peter 2:24.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or

be lifted up.” John 3: 14
Who did no sin, neither was

who, when he was reviled,
reviled not again; when he
suffered, he threatened not;
but committed himself to

being dead to sin, should

Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows…he was
wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities;
the chastisement of our peace
was upon him…the Lord hath laid

Isaiah 53: 4-6
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just

God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by
the Spirit; by which also he went and preached unto
the spirits in prison. 1
Peter 3:18,19;
But God commendeth his love toward us in

us. Romans 5:8;
Sheol ---------------- Hades ---------------- Hell
What that means for us:
2 Corinthians 5:14; Romans 6: 6, 7; 2 Corinthians 5:19
The love of Christ
constraineth us;
because we thus
judge, that if one died
for all then were all
dead.
Knowing this that our
old man is crucified
with him, that the
body of sin might be
destroyed, that
henceforth we should
not serve sin. For he
that is dead is freed
from sin

Jesus Christ, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery
to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and
took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the
likeness of men:
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and
men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom
for all, to be testified in due time.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the
unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in
the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: by which he went and
preached unto the spirits in prison.
Christ’s soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see
corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all
are witnesses.
The gospel…Christ died for our sins according
to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and
that he rose again the third day according to
the scriptures.

humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the
death of the cross.

sin that dwelleth in me….I find
then a law, that, when I would do

this death?
There is therefore now no condemnation to them
which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the
flesh but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit
of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from
the law of sin and death. For what the law could

dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by
his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

And the second came saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. And he said

Isaiah 11: 6-9 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down
with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child
shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down
together: and the lion shall eat straw like an ox. And the sucking child shall play on the
hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrices den. They
shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the
knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
Thou hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of
every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
and hast made us unto our God kings and priests:
and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 5: 9, 10
Lake of Fire
1000 years ruling with Jesus on this earth
Hell
Revelation 20: 7- 9 When the thousand
years are expired, Satan shall be loosed
out of his prison, and shall go out to
deceive the nations.
And they went up on the breadth of the
earth, and compassed the camp of the
saints about, and the beloved city
For he must reign, till he hath put all
enemies under his feet. The last enemy
that shall be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15: 25, 26
And fire came down from God out of
heaven and devoured them
And the devil that deceived them was
cast into the lake of fire.
Hell
Revelation 20: 11-15 I saw a great
white throne and he that sat upon it,
from whose face the earth and the
heaven fled away; and there was
found no place for them
And I saw the dead, small and great
stand before God; and the books
were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life:
and the dead were judged out of
those things that were written in the
books according to their works
And the sea gave up the dead which
were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in
them: and they were judged every
man according to his works.
And death and hell were cast into
the lake of fire. This is the second
death. And whosoever was not
found written in the book of life was
cast into the lake of fire.
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new
earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2 Peter 3: 13
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were
passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband
And I heard a great voice out of heaven
saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with
men, and he will dwell with them, and they
shall be his people, and God himself shall be
with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any
more pain: for the former things are passed
away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I
make all things new.”
Isaiah 9: 6, 7 Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: And the government shall be upon his shoulder:
And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the trhone of
David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice
From henceforth even forever.
