GLUTEN FREE NUT & SEED BARS Ingredients: 1.5 lbs. vanilla-flavored candy coating 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. almond extract Approx. 3 cups of your favorite nuts, dried fruit and gluten free pretzels (broken into small pieces) Recommended Supplies: Saucepan Wax Paper Jelly Roll Pan (15” x 10”) Cutting Board Direction: 1. Melt candy coating, condensed milk and salt in a saucepan over low heat. 2. Remove from heat and gently stir in nuts, fruit and pretzels. 3. Spread the mixture on a wax paper-lined jelly roll pan (15” x 10”). Chill for 2 hours or until firm. 4. Turn jelly roll pan onto a cutting board. Peel off the wax paper. Cut into squares. 5. Eat right away and package the rest for a healthy snack! Note: if you have a gluten allergy, make sure all the ingredients used are gluten free. Before preparing the bars, wipe down counters.
