Beloved wife of 70 years of the late Charles. Devoted mother of Charles V. (Wilma), Judi Fayer (Tom), Frank, John, Michael (Jackie) and Gary. Loving grandmother of Barbara, Charles, Jr., Thomas, Lisa, Caryn, Maura, Christopher, Victoria, Grace, Michael, Paul and Daniel. Also survived by numerous great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Koehler was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of Annunciation Church. HELEN P. TURING (Feb. 2)

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Gloucester City for Helen P. Turing, 67, of Gloucester City who passed away on January 24, 2017.

Helen was reunited with her late husband, Kenneth G. Turing, Sr., the love of her life. She will be terribly missed by her loving family and friends. Helen was born in Darby, PA on March 12, 1949 to the late Louis and Mary Grandizio. Loving mother of Robert Gaff (Wendy) and Lauri Baldi (Jim) and step-mother of Kathleen Greene (Jerry). (Dan), Sarah Nicholson Nolan (Greg), Maria Garris Lemma (Jeffery), Olivia and Brian Garris and Domenic, Gabrielle and Nicholas Lanciano. Cherished great-grandfather of Abigail and Liam Giles.

Gene proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during Korean War. He retired as branch manager for Burroughs Corporation in Trenton and Philadelphia. Gene was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Church. He was inducted in 1971 into the Gloucester City Lions Club by William Dilks and was an active member for 46 years to the present day. Gene was Treasurer for the Club for many years.

He was a longtime member of Gloucester City Seniors Citizens Association.

Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors in New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church Fund: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030.

HERBERT W. (KELLY) MIXNER (Feb. 2) Service were private as per his request for Herbert W. (Kelly) Mixner, 93, of Audubon Park who passed peacefully away on January 23, 2017. His memorial request is to share an act of kindness to someone of need or donations to the Lindenwold Animal Shelter I know I told you all I was going to live to be 107 and I also told you I was coming back as a piano player...well I started my piano lessons a bit earlier than I had originally planned. Kelly was born in Bridgeton, raised and attended school in Glassboro. He enlisted in the Navy a few days after the bombing of Pear Harbor. Kelly was a decorated World War II US Navy pilot who retired after 23 years of service. He was very proud to have served his country. Beloved husband of Charlene (nee Alleva) Lefebvre. Children from a previous marriage; Marylyn, Sheryl, Irma, JoAnn, James, and the late Kenneth, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren all of Rhode Island. Not to forget his two much loved "kids" Licorice and Gizmo. He was a very kind hearted, generous, fun loving person, ready to help all and he did. CHARLES FLOWERS (Feb. 2)

Private Funeral services and Interment were held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemeteryfor Charles E. Flowers, 86, of Gloucester City who passed away on January 17, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa Flowers, dear brother of Dorothea Pickering, Nancy Lamon, Alma Garber, the late William E. and Frank R. Flowers, Sr. and Betty Gleockler. He is also survived by his compassionate caretaker Deborah Miller.

Charles was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War.

THERESA B. KUHNEL (Feb. 9) Graveside services were held at Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro for Theresa B. Kuhnel (nee Decker), 91, of Gloucester Heights who passed away on February 1, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late George. Devoted mother of Rose DiDomenico. Loving sister of Mary Iannuzzi and

ROBERT J. FOLEY JR. (Feb. 9)

Services were held for Robert J. Foley, Jr. who passed away on January 16, 2017 in Annapolis, Maryland due to complications of dementia and Parkinson disease.

Bob was born on December 28, 1944 in Camden, to Robert J. Foley, Sr. and Marcella Morley Foley. Bob grew up in Gloucester City and graduated from Gloucester City High School in 1964. After high school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps with two tours in Vietnam. He then moved to Maryland and married Linda on February 14, 1970.

He leaves behind his wife, Linda Foley, daughter, Colleen M. Dearborn, (Mike), and five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Michael, Madison, Chandler and Catherine Dearborn.

RICAHRD POWELL (Feb. 9)

A Memorial Service of Remembrance was held at Etherington-Creran Funeral Home, 700 Powell Street, Gloucester City for Richard Powell, 51, of Gloucester City who suddenly passed away on February 2, 2017.

Beloved father of Marissa Powell. Loving long time companion of Christina Pugitore, and dear brother of Joseph H. Powell.

Interment private.

LARRAINE FLYNN (Feb. 9) Memorial Services were held for Lorraine (Powell) Flynn who was called into the house of the Lord on Wednesday December 28, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and dear friends. Lorraine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her strength and victory fighting leukemia was an inspiration for all. Everyone will remember her contagious laugh and loyalty to family, church and work. She always went above and beyond for those she loved and cared for. She appreciated walks in nature, gardening, creative memories, her extensive career in food science, cooking, and

her home being the hub for entertaining family and friends. Lorraine had an unwavering faith in God’s plan and while she is no longer with us in body her spirit lives on in each whose life she touched. Lorraine is survived by her devoted husband Mark Flynn, loving sons Bradley and Jonathan, sisters Judith Hines, Lynne Kotter, Susan Sheridan, brother William Powell, sisters Patricia Marchionne, Joyce Bobo, brother James Powell and many nieces and nephews. MAY BIDER (Feb. 9) Private services were held for May Bider, 90, of Bellmawr, formerly of Runnemede who following a long battle with Alzheimers, peacefully passed away surrounded by family at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees on January 31, 2017. Dear daughter of the late Leonard and Daisy Stevenson. Beloved wife of the late Ray. Devoted mother of Ray, Jr. and Bill (Robyn). Grandma of Lucas and his fiancée Erin. Sister of Vinnie Kirby (Frank) and the late Dottie Stevenson, Leonard Stevenson (Jean), Oliver Stevenson (Franny), Elizabeth Desrocher (Joe), William Stevenson (Joyce) and Thelma Parker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. May was an employee at RCA, Ultronics and GTE in Mt. Laurel for over sixty years, enjoying her jobs and friends immensely. May loved traveling with her husband Ray and especially to her son’s home in Kansas, spending time with her only grandson, Lucas. She was an avid gardener, very proud of how beautiful her home looked. She was always one to dress looking her finest. When not gardening, May’s favorite pastimes were going to Atlantic City or Las Vegas Casinos or playing Bingo locally with her friends. MARION J. IVINS (Feb. 9) Memorial Services were held for Marion J. Ivins, 86, (nee Ridgway), of Runnemede who passed away at Samaritian Hospice in Mt. Holly on January 19, 2017. Born and raised in Camden and a graduate of Camden High School, Mrs. Ivins had lived in the Fairview section of Camden before moving to Collingswood where she raised her daughter after which, she retired to Cape May Court House. Marion worked for most of her adult life at Curtis Publishing Company in Philadelphia and then at Auerbach Publishing and Wise Tag and Label Company in Pennsauken. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Wallis and Marion Ridgway; five brothers and sisters, Wallis, Raymond, Janet, Arnold and Robert, as well as her longtime companion, Lee Nordaby. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Johanna Morfesis and her husband, Dennis; her two grandsons, Alexander and Daniel Morfesis; her two sisters, Thelma Pennington and Audrey Pucci as well as many nieces and nephews. Devine, “Tug”, 63, of Bellmawr who passed away on January 29, 2017. Beloved son of the late Daniel and Anna. Devoted father of Dawnmarie Oliver (K.C.), Daniel (Leigha), Joyce, and the late Robert. Loving grandfather of Zac, Chase, John, Caleb, and Jaxon. Dear brother of Terry Montenigro. Cherished uncle of Anthony and Angie Fedele. Also survived by his entire Warriors Watch family. Tug was the Southern NJ Coordinator for the Warriors Watch Riders and an escort for the NJ Run for the Fallen. He was the former chief for McCallister Towing and an assistant engineer for Bouchard. John worked as a bartender for many years with the Westmont Inn in Haddon Township.

Graveside services will be held at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown on Thursday, February 9 at 10 a.m. for John V. Brandemarte, 81, of Mantua who passed away on January 29, 2017.

Father of Elizabeth Giuliano and Jamie Morris; brother of Elizabeth Fowler and the late James Brandemarte in 2015; uncle of Allyson Covis and BethAnn Lukas.

John proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and later worked as a manager with United Stationers Supply Co. in Pennsauken.

THOMAS R. MALLISON (Feb. 16)

Funeral services were held for Thomas R. Mallison, 37, of Barnegat, Formerly of Runnemede who passed away on February 6, 2017. He is the beloved husband of Christine K. (nee Latif), loving son of Robert and Kathy (nee Marshall) Mallison, dear brother of Jonathan (Devon) Mallison and April Rubinchik (Itay). He is also survived by his dear niece Samara. MICHAEL R. RYAN (Feb. 16)

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Gloucester City for Michael R. Ryan, of Maple Shade, Formerly of Oaklyn who passed away on January 30, 2017.

Beloved son of Marilynn Doll (Demgard), brother of Cindy L. Briscoe, Kerry Anthony, Tammy Chouinard, Laura Strausbaugh and Glenn Doll, nephew of June Peel and Doris Armington. He was predeceased by his father, Richard H. Ryan.

Michael was born in Red Bank Boro and was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary and was a graduate of Stockton University in Galloway Township where he earned his Bachelor Degree. He later worked for the State of New Jersey EPA in Trenton as a cartographer.

DAVID M. POLLACK JR. (Feb. 16)

Catholic Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 15 at noon at McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City for David M. Pollack, Jr., 52, of Washington Township who passed away on February 8, 2017.

Loving husband of Linda A. Pollack (nee Foreman). Beloved father of David M. Pollack. Cherished son of Martha Pollack and the late David M. Pollack, Sr. Dear brother of Al K. Barker.

David was a graduate of Gloucester High School. He worked over 10 years as a working foreman for Georgia Pacific in Camden. David was an avid hunter and was extremely skilled in visual arts, enjoying woodwork and crafting.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday morning, 10 a.m. to Noon at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City for Irene M. Locantore, 96, of Pennsauken, Formerly of South Camden who passed away on January 30, 2017.

Beloved mother of Dennis Locantore and Patrick Locantore, sister of Julia Hutchinson. She was predeceased by her husband, Rocco F. Locantore and her son, Michael Locantore.

Irene was a homemaker and loved to go out dancing at the Stardust Ballroom in Bellmawr.

JEROME F. COLEMAN (Feb. 16)

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joachim Parish, Bellmawr for Jerome F. Coleman, 89, of Westville who passed away on February 4, 2017. Fred, a lifelong resident of Westville, son of Joseph and Grace Coleman was delivered by Dr. Underwood in his hospital on January 3, 1928. He attended the local schools and graduated from Woodbury High School in 1946. Shortly after graduation he began a lifetime career in insurance as a clerk with The Employers Liability Assurance Corp., leaving there as a casualty insurance underwriter to work at National Union Fire Insurance Co., becoming a multi-line insurance underwriter. During that period he continued his education through special and related courses at the Philadelphia Insurance Society and evening schools of Temple Univ. and Rutgers South Jersey. He retired in 1997 as Underwriting Manager from the South Jersey Branch of the Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. after thirty two years with that company. He was a member and past president of the Automobile Underwriters Club of Philadelphia, active in the local community as Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 240, umpire and manager in Westville Little League, coach in Westville Soccer Assoc., member of the Westville Environmental Commission and a member for thirty one years and past president of the Westville Board of Education. He was one of the original group lectors at St. Anne's Church, serving in that capacity until recently. Beloved husband of the late Joan Marie McLaughlin of Lindenwold. They were married for 61 years. They have four children; Nancy Jackson of Gibbstown, Jerome Jr., of Maryland, Brian (Sharon) of Westville and David (Susanne) of Linthicum Heights, Maryland; as well as seven grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson. Interment at New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers contributions to House of Charity, Bishop's Annual Appeal 631 Market St., Camden, NJ 08102; in care of St. Joachim Parish at the Church of the Annunciation.

GEORGE JOSEPH RIEDER (Feb. 16)

Funeral services were held for George Joseph Rieder, Jr, 46, of Gloucester City who passed away on February 3, 2017. He was born on October 19, 1970 in Camden, to Elizabeth (Rhoda) Rieder and the late George Joseph Rieder, Sr. He was a graduate of Gloucester City High School in 1989. In George’s younger years, he enjoyed playing football and basketball. He was an avid Eagles fan. He liked fishing, billiards and traveling. His family will remember him as a very good-hearted helpful man. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Margaret and Frederick H. Beloved wife of the late Joseph G. Weber. Loving mother of Walter (Angela) Weber of Alexandria, Virginia, Louise (Douglas) Kahl of Munroe Falls, Ohio, and Neil (Christina) Weber of Galena, Ohio, and devoted grandmother of nine grandchildren: Juliana, Constance, Peter, and Andrew Weber; Seth Kahl; and Sophia, Xavier, Elijah, and Luke Weber. Preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters, she is survived by her sister Patricia Mergenthal Lanzilotta and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Gloucester City, on November 16, 1929. She was the ninth of twelve children born to Theresa

Sagorc Williams and Henry J. Williams II. Mary attended St. Mary’s Grammar School and Gloucester Catholic High School (then St. Mary’s High School), both in Gloucester City. She graduated as valedictorian of the high school class of 1947. She went on to take classes at the Steelman Business School in Camden while caring for her then invalid mother.

Mary was employed for nine years from 1948 to 1957 in the quality control department at RCA Service Company, first in Gloucester City and later in Cherry Hill. She left work upon her marriage to Joseph G. Weber on October 5, 1957.

Mary dedicated herself to her family. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Throughout fifty-two years of marriage, she was a loving wife, and she provided constant care to her husband at home during his fatal battle with cancer. After his death in 2010, she became an active member of the organizations To Live Again and the Leisure Club at Christ Our Light Church, Cherry Hill.

In 2016, Mary moved to Alexandria, VA to live with her eldest son and his family. As her health declined, she moved to the Paul Spring Retirement Community and then to Spring Hills Mt. Vernon Assisted Living facility. Mary will be remembered as a good and loving woman by all who knew her.

Viewing will be held on Friday, February, 24, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., at McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City.

Interment at New St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bellmawr.

MARY L. FOX (Feb. 23) Funeral services were held at Mahaffey-Milano Funeral Home, 11 E. Kings Highway, Mt. Ephraim, for Mary L. Fox, 89, of Bellmawr since 1953 who passed on February 17, 2017. Mother of Laura Ann Whitaker of Swedesboro and Raymond Fox, Jr (deceased). Sister of Mrs. Kathryn Batdorf Pickersgill (deceased). Aunt Mary to especially devoted nieces Dotsie Donnelly, Carol Eisemann, Kitty Imhof, and six more nieces and two nephews. Ms. Fox attended Grace Episcopal Church in Merchantville, and had worked at Pincus Brothers Maxwell Clothing in Philadelphia, and W.T. Grant in Brooklawn. She was a member of Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union, and was active in the PTA, Girl Scouts, Little League, and Bellmawr Sr. Citizens.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William J. Hardy, Sr. and Maryann Walsh-Hardy. Loving mother of Mary Lou Wood (Stewart R. Wood, Sr.), loving grandmother of Stewart R. Wood, Jr. (Jade), Eric W. Wood, Sr. (Danielle Diamond-Wood and Jennifer Simpson), great grandmother of Eric W. Wood, Jr., Thomas J., Cali and Kaia Wood, sister of Rita Baldini and sister-in-law of Nick Salvatore, Sr. Libby was predeceased by her husband Frederick P. Grossmann on January 9, 2000 (this Valentine’s day would have marked their 69

th year of

marriage). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Libby retired in 1988 after 15 years of service with 3M Company in West Deptford, where she worked as an electrical component assembler. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew’s Church in National Park since 1950. She enjoyed working in the beer garden at the St. Matthew’s School carnival for many years.

JUNE L. CROCE (Feb. 23)

A memorial service was held for June L. Croce (Harrison), of Gloucester City, 75, who passed away on February 14, 2017.

She was the beloved mother of Peggy Leemhuis (Charles), Betty Moore (Donald), Tom Biernacki (Kim), Tony Biernacki (Rene), Lorrie Wood, Donna Croce and the late David Biernacki. She is the dear sister of Pearl Haines, Irene Evans, Mary Dicus and the late Robert and George Harrison, Hazel Smierciak, Betty Bello, Ruth Spicer and Walter Butts. She is also survived by 28 dear grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

June was a home body and enjoyed helping people.
