Phil McArthur has dedicated his professional career to the development and expansion of shopping centres globally. Over the past 38 years, Phil

has developed an international reputation for strategically positioning projects, ensuring efficient execution and delivering consistently strong financial returns in the shopping centre industry across the Middle East,

North America, North Africa and Asia.

In the Middle East, Phil has held senior directorial and managerial roles on such prestigious projects as Dubai Festival City, Deira City Centre,

Mall of the Emirates, Muscat City Centre and CityStars in Cairo.

Prior to founding McARTHUR + COMPANY, Phil held senior executive positions at renowned real estate companies such as Ivanhoe

Cambridge, Al Futtaim Group, CityStars, MAF Shopping Centres and Brookfield Properties.

He has a long association with the New York-based International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as the first Trustee representing the Middle

East. Phil has served as President and Board Member of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres, as well as Chairman of the ICSC

Global Design Awards.

Furqan’s expertise in shopping centre investment, underwriting, and operational finance is well-known across the region. He has extensive

experience in all aspects of the shopping centre industry, most specifically in investment management and value creation.

In previous management positions with Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Centres and Al Futtaim Group Real Estate, he has been instrumental in

the financial and strategic planning of some of the Middle East and Asia’s most successful shopping centers and mixed-use developments.

Tom leads the research, development and operationsadvisory team at McARTHUR + COMPANY. He hasmore than a fifteen years of experience in retaildevelopment, asset management, operations and leasingwith Dubai-based real estate giants such as Al FuttaimGroup Real Estate, Majid Al Futtaim Properties and EmaarMalls Group.At Majid Al Futtaim, he was instrumentally involved in theplanning, re-development and leasing of Deira City Centre,leasing and opening of Mirdif City Centre, planning anddevelopment of Sohar City Centre and expansion ofAjman City Centre. Usman is a highly accomplished, innovative andperformance-driven Finance and AccountsProfessional with over 7 years of an extensiveexperience in Accounting and FinanceOperations. He has been previously associated withErsnt & Young and AkzoNobel. His comprehensiveexperience in Strategic Financial Planning,Budgeting & MIS, IFRS and mobilization of fundsfor new growth opportunities has helped indelivering consistent results. He also played a keyrole in AkzoNobel in carrying out various FeasibilityStudies for CAPEX investments and launching ofnew ventures.
