News
China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has selected Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei to deploy a TD-LTE demonstration network for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo. The network has already been partially deployed. Expo visitors using TD-LTE terminals will be able to enjoy mobile broadband download speedsup to 29Mbps.
Huawei provided LTE wireless network access, SAE core networks, terminals, chipsets, and other end-to-end products and solutions for the network. The network will support multiple wireless broadband applications including HD video broadcast, HD video surveillance, high-speed mobile internet, and mobile information services.

LTE Femtocell Reference Design PicoChip - The LTE femtocell reference design consists of a system including a
chassis with a PicoChip modem, mezzanine RF card and Layer 1 physical layer (PHY) software, together with Cavium Networks’OCTEON(R) Plus multi-core MIPS64(R) processor. Continuous Computing provides Trillium LTE Layer 2/3 protocols, the eNodeB reference application and a complete EPC (Evolved Packet Core) Core Network Emulator (CNE).
