You can paint your pot whichever way you like in reference to social justice. You may want to draw a polar bear or a penguin. You can paint the Maldive Islands. You can create a poster like picture that raises awareness on issues. You can create a green pot with messages like “save the polar bear”, “save the planet”. Etc. It is up to you, be creative!

If you are not sure how to plant the Herb please refer to the back of the packaging there is detailed information on how to plant the seeds as well as how to maintain them in the future.

During this activity get together with some of your classmates and discuss the benefits or disadvantages of growing your own fruits, herbs, vegetables, etc. in relation to global warming. Be prepared to share this with the class.
