Instantanous domestic water heaters provide hot water instantaneously and only as it is needed. When a hot water tap is turned on, cold

water runs through a pipe into a heat exchanger in the unit. The cold water is heated in the heat exchanger via district heating water or

another waterborne heat source. As a result, instantaneous water heaters deliver a constant supply of hot water.

Danfoss offers a comprehensive range of products with different control solutions based on principles of flow, thermostatic, flow and

thermostatic or electronic controlling.

The Termix Novi water heater includes heat exchanger and flow-compensated temperature controller with a built-in ∆p controller.

The Danfoss IHPT valve is a flow-compensated temperature controller with a built-in ∆p controller. The two regulating parameters protect

the heat exchanger against over heating and lime scale formation and enables an outstanding regulaty performance.

The Termix BV substation is an instantaneous water heater featuring superb heat extraction and high performance.

The substation is delivered with thermostatic or electronic controls.

Termix BV is suitable for large apartment houses, sports arenas and schools, where large amounts of hot water are needed. The hot water

systems are available in 7 different sizes with an output from 77-265 kW.

The substation is supplied with PU insulated brazed heat exchangers.

Termix BL is an instantaneous water heater with brazed heat exchanger and electronic controls.

The Termix BL substation is available for charging systems with large momentary demands for hot water or in installations with relatively

low supply capacity. Thereby Termix BL is suitable for large apartment houses, sports arenas and schools, where large amounts of hot water

typically are needed.

Substations Indirect Heating

A substation for indirect heating has a heat exchanger separating the primary flow from the secondary flow. Indirect substations

are recommended for PN16-networks and higher pressure classes. Substations in this category are normally supplied with con-

nection pipes for a domestic hot water cylinder on the primary side for the fitted constructions, and on the secondary side for the

welded constructions.

Danfoss District Energy Substations/Flat Stations - Direct Heating + DHW

Substations for direct heating have no heat exchanger separating the primary flow from the secondary flow. Therefore the supply from

the network or the central oil-/gas boiler will flow directly into the network in each flat. Direct substations are recommended for

maximum PN10 networks.

Instantanous domestic water heaters provide hot water instantaneously and only as it is needed. Danfoss offers a comprehensive range

of products with different control solutions based on principles of flow, thermostatic, flow and thermostatic or electronic controlling.

Flat stations VMTD-F are especially suitable for mounting in blocks of flats due to their very limited depth.

Flat Stations - Direct Heating + DHW EvoFlat FSS, with complete insulation

Flat station for direct heating and a instantaneous domestic hot water heater for single-family, semi-detached and terraced houses as well as flats.

With innovative self-acting TPC-M controller with integrated differential pressure controller for control of heating and DHW temperature.

The EvoFlat is especially suitable for two-pipe systems in residential buildings, which are supplied from a secondary connected district heating sy-

stem, a block heating system or a centrally located boiler system in a dwelling house. The domestic hot water is prepared in the heat exchanger based

on the flow principle and the temperature is regulated by the self-acting TPC-M controller.

The EvoFlat is built up on an EPP insulation back plate and a front insulation cover is available as an option, enabling the customer to have a fully

insulated substation, thus ensuring reduced heat losses and excellent operating economy.

The EvoFlat range is available as built-in variant with a recess box, or as wall-mounted variant and is prepared for implementation with the

Danfoss distribution systems for floor heating or radiator heating.

The Termix VMTD-N-B is a complete solution with built-in water heater and a differential pressure controlled heating system. The patented

Danfoss District Energy Substations - Direct Heating w/mix. loop + DHW

Substations for direct heating have no heat exchanger separating the primary flow from the secondary flow. Therefore the supply from

the network will flow directly into the network in the building. A mixing loop on the heating side gives the possibility to control the

supply temperature for the housing installation in the substation. Direct substations are recommended for maximum PN10 or PN6

networks. Instantanous domestic water heaters provide hot water instantaneously and only as it is needed.

Danfoss offers a comprehensive range of products with different control solutions based on principles of flow, thermostatic, flow and

thermostatic or electronic controlling.

The substations can be used for single family houses as well as for larger installations fx. in schools or sport halls. The charging principle

is possible by Termix VMTD Compact 28 and is operated by use of motorized valves.

Flat station for direct heating and a instantaneous domestic hot water heater for single-family, semi-detached and terraced houses as well as flats.

With innovative self-acting TPC-M controller with integrated differential pressure controller for control of heating and DHW temperature.

The EvoFlat is especially suitable for two-pipe systems in residential buildings, which are supplied from a secondary connected district heating sy-

stem, a block heating system or a centrally located boiler system in a dwelling house. The domestic hot water is prepared in the heat exchanger based

on the flow principle and the temperature is regulated by the self-acting TPC-M controller. The heating side comprises a mixing loop with A-labelled

energy-efficient pump, which provides a suitable temperature level e.g. for floor heating. The EvoFlat is built up on an EPP insulation back plate and a

front insulation cabinet is available as an option, enabling the customer to have a fully insulated substation, thus ensuring reduced heat losses and

excellent operationg economy. The EvoFlat range is available as built-in variant with a recess box, or as wall-mounted variant and is prepared

for implementation with the Danfoss distribution systems for floor heating or radiator heating.

District heating substation for direct heating with mixing loop and instantaneous domestic hot water with flow-compensated

temperature controller.

The Termix VMTD-MIX-I is a complete solution with built-in water heater and a differential pressure controlled heating system with

integrated mixing loop.

The Danfoss IHPT valve is a flow-compensated temperature controller with a built-in ∆p controller. The two regulating parameters protect

the heat exchanger against over heating and lime scale formation.

The mixing loop creates a suitable temperature level e.g. for floor heating.

A substation for indirect heating has a heat exchanger separating the primary flow from the secondary flow. Indirect substations are

recommended for PN16-networks and higher pressure classes. Instantanous domestic water heaters provide hot water instantaneously

and only as it is needed. Danfoss offers a comprehensive range of products with different control solutions based on principles of flow,

thermostatic, flow and thermostatic or electronic controlling.

The substations can be used for single-family houses as well as for larger installations eg. in schools or sport halls.

The charging principle is possible by Compact 28, and is operated by means of motorized valves.

Indirect substation for single and multi-family houses with up to 7 flats.

District heating substation for indirect heating and instantaneous domestic hot water with thermostatic control.

The Termix VVX-B is used if a heat exchanger is required or on a conversion to district heating where the existing equipment is unsuitable

for direct connection. The domestic hot water is prepared in the heat exchanger and the temperature is regulated with a thermostatic

control valve. The patented sensor accelerator accelerates the closing of the thermostatic valve and protects the heat exchanger against

over heating and lime scale formation.

The VVX-B substation can be used together with the Termix distribution units for floor heating or radiator heating.

Danfoss District Energy Water Heaters - Solar Heating

Instantaneous domestic water heaters provide hot water instantaneously and only as it is needed. When a hot water tap is turned on,

cold water runs through a pipe into a heat exchanger in the unit. The cold water is heated in the heat exchanger, typically via a solar

heating and biomass application systems or another waterborne heat source. As a result, instantaneous water heaters deliver a constant

supply of hot water.

Danfoss offers a comprehensive range of products with different control solutions based on principles of flow, thermostatic, flow and

thermostatic or electronic controlling.

Water heaters for solar heating can be used for single-family houses as well as for small blocks of flats.

The Termix One Solar is an instantaneous water heater, featuring superb heat extraction and high performance. The Termix One Solar is

applicable for heating systems with buffer accumulators, solar systems or for other heat sources, where a very low return temperature is

Instantaneous water heater with heat exchanger and electronic control, for large apartment houses, sports arenas and schools. The Termix

FLS water heater is applicable for heating systems with buffer accumulators, solar systems or for other heat sources, where a very low

return temperature is preferred. A meter switch in the domestic hot water outlet is controlling the primary heating pump according to

demand.

The domestic hot water is prepared in the heat exchanger and the temperature is regulated via the controller along with 3 sensors.

Danfoss District Energy General Conditions of Sales

General Terms and Conditions of Sale These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (”Terms”) apply to all deliveries of products and services (”Products”) from Danfoss A/S or its Affiliates (each of which is referred to as ”Danfoss”) to any customer (”Customer”). In these Terms ”Affiliate” shall mean an entity directly or indirectly controlled by Danfoss A/S whether by shares or voting rights.No terms and conditions other than the Terms shall be binding upon Danfoss and Customer unless agreed in writing by Danfoss and Customer. All terms and conditions contained in any prior communication which are different from or in additional to the Terms shall not be binding on Danfoss unless otherwise agreed in writing by Danfoss and Customer.1. Confirmation of OrderDanfoss shall not be deemed to have accepted a purchase order until written, including electronic, confirmation of the order from Danfoss is received by Customer or Danfoss has received written, timely and unconditional acceptance from Customer of Danfoss’ quotation.2. Terms of DeliveryThe Products are delivered EXW from, at Danfoss’ option, any of Danfoss’ factories or places of business. Failing special instructions, Danfoss has the right to dispatch the Products to Customer at the risk and expense of Customer by a transportmethod chosen by Danfoss.EXW shall be interpreted in accordance with the Incoterms valid on the time of acceptance of the purchase order or quotation.3. DelayIf Danfoss does not deliver at the agreed time, Customer is entitled to request delivery in writing and fix a final, reasonable time limit for delivery. If delivery is notmade within this time limit, Customer is entitled to rescind from the agreement of sale and claim compensation for its documented, direct loss. No further claims can be made by Customer as a result of the delay.4. PricesPrices for Products are exclusive of VAT and/or other taxes or duties.Danfoss reserves the right to adjust prices for non-delivered Products in the event of alterations in rates of exchange, variations in costs of materials, sub-suppliers’ price increases, changes in wages, state requisitions or similar conditions over which Danfoss has no or limited control.5. PackingDisposable packing is included in the prices and will not be credited if returned. Returnable packing is not included in the price but will be credited if returned without undue delay in undamaged condition at Customer’s expense, in accordance with Danfoss’ instructions.6. Terms of PaymentDue date is 30 days from the date of invoice. From the due date an interest rate of the lesser of 2% permonth or the highest rate allowable under applicable law will be payable.7. Group Set-offDanfoss and its Affiliates shall be entitled to set off own claims against and withhold payments to Customer in Customer’s possible claims against any of said companies.8. Product InformationAny information – irrespective of derivation from Danfoss or a Danfoss business contact – including, but not limited to information on weight, dimensions, capacity or any other technical data in catalogues, descriptions, advertisements, etc. shall be considered informative, and are only binding if and to the extent explicit reference on this is made in offer and/or order confirmation. Specific demands from the Customer are only binding if and to the extent they have been confirmed by Danfoss in writing.9. Proprietary Information and ConfidentialityAny non-public information, including but not limited to prices, drawings, descriptions and any technical documents which Danfoss has made or may make available to Customer (”Confidential Information”) shall remain the property of Danfoss and shall be treated as confidential by Customer and its representatives and must not, without the written consent of Danfoss, be copied, reproduced, or transferred to third parties or be used for other purposes than those intended when the Confidential Information was made available. Confidential Information shall be returned to Danfoss upon request.10. AlterationsDanfoss reserves the right to make alterations to the Products, which do not materially affect agreed specifications or the Products’ form, fit or function, without notice.11. Cost-free RepairsDanfoss agrees to repair or replace at the discretion of Danfoss such Products that on Danfoss’ examination are found to be defective at the time of delivery due to faulty manufacture, design and/or defective materials, provided Customer makes a claim to Danfoss within 12 months from the date of delivery, however not exceeding 18 months from the date stamped on the product.If defects occur within the above mentioned period, the Product shall be forwarded to Danfoss together with a written notice describing the reason for returning the Product. Freight and insurance shall be paid by Customer. Products returned shall be free of extraneous equipment. However, compressors must be fitted with their electrical equipment. If Danfoss’ examination shows that the Product is not faulty, the Product shall be returned to Customer.Freight and insurance shall be paid by Customer. If Danfoss ascertains that the Product is faulty, Danfoss shall send the repaired or a replacement Product to Customer. Danfoss may choose the method of dispatch and pays freight and insurance. Products or product parts which have been replaced shall be the property of and retained by Danfoss. Warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or otherwise shall be excluded other than those, that cannot be excluded by applicable law.12. Product LiabilityDanfoss shall not be liable for any damage to real property or chattels caused by the Product after it has been delivered and whilst it is in the possession of Customer. Nor shall Danfoss be liable for any damage to products manufactured by Customer or to products of which Customer’s products forma part.If Danfoss incurs liability towards any third party for such damage as described in the preceding paragraph, Customer shall indemnify, defend and hold Danfoss harmless.

Customer shall indemnify and hold Danfoss harmless for all claims arising from damage resulting from the use or operation of the Products because of the improper repair, maintenance or operation of the Products by Customer, the failure of Customer to adequately train personnel in the operation of the Products, Customer’s failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations or otherwise.If a claim for damage as described in this clause is lodged by a third party against either Danfoss or Customer, the respondent party shall immediately inform the other party thereof in writing. Customer shall be obliged to let itself be summoned to the court or arbitral tribunal examining claims for damages lodged against Danfoss on the basis of damage allegedly caused by the Product.13. Secondary DamageDanfoss shall not be liable to Customer for any of the following types of loss or damage arising under or in relation to a purchase agreements governed by these Terms: 1) any loss of profits, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, or revenue; or 2) any loss or corruption of data; or 3) any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever; even if Danfoss was advised in advance of the possibility of such loss or damage.14. Mandatory LiabilityNothing in these Terms (including but not limited to the exclusions and limitations in clause 11 to 13) shall operate so as to exclude or limit the liability of either party to the other for death or personal injury arising out of its negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.15. Notice of ClaimsClaims or complaints as to defects and/or delay in delivery of the Products or other claims shallbe submitted in writing by Customer to Danfoss without undue delay.16. Intellectual Property RightsIf the Product is delivered with embedded software, Customer obtains a non-exclusive software license in form of a right o fuse to the software solely for the purposes set out in applicable specification of the Product. Aside from this, Customer obtains no rights in form of license, patent, copyright, trademark or other proprietary right connected to the Products.Customer shall not obtain any rights to source codes to such software.17. Restraint on Resale and Use for Certain PurposesDanfoss products are produced for civilian use and Customer is not allowed to use or to resell the Products for purposes, which have any connection to chemical, biological or nuclear weapons or missiles which are capable of delivering such weapons. Customer is not allowed to sell the Products to persons, companies or any other kind of organization if Customer has knowledge of or suspects that said persons or entities are related to any kind of terrorist or narcotics activities. The Products may be subject to legal regulations or restrictions and may therefore be subject to restrictions in case of sale to countries/customers covered by export or import ban. These restrictions shall be observed in case of resale of the Products to such countries/customers.Customer is not allowed to resell the Products if there is doubt or suspicion that the Products can be used for the purposes mentioned in the preceding paragraph. If Customer receives knowledge of or suspects that the conditions in this clause have been violated. Customer shall immediately inform Danfoss.18. ForceMajeureDanfoss is entitled to cancel orders or suspend delivery of Products and shall not be liable for any non-delivery, faulty or delayed delivery which partly or wholly is caused by circumstances beyond Danfoss’ reasonable control, including, but not limited to riots, civil unrest, war, terrorism, fire, insurrection, requisition, seizure, embargo or defects or delays in deliveries by sub-contractors, strikes, lockouts, slow downs, lack of transportation, scarcity of materials, sickness accidents in product testing, and insufficient supplies of energy. Any of Customer’s contractual rights are suspended or become void in any such circumstances referred to in this clause. Customer is not entitled to any kind of damages or to make a claim whatsoever in case of cancellation or delayed delivery due to such circumstances.

19. Global CompactDanfoss has joined the United Nations’ Global Compact initiative which means that Danfoss has undertaken to live up to 10 principles on human rights, employees’ rights, the environment and corruption. These principles are listed in ”Danfoss Code of Conduct for Suppliers” to be seen on www.danfoss.com. Therefore Danfoss encourages Customer to comply with these fundamental principles. For further information on Global Compact:http://www.unglobalcompact.org20. Partial InvalidityIf one or more of the terms and conditions in these Terms or any part of a term is deemed invalid, unenforceable, illegal or inoperable, the validity, enforceability, legality or operability of all further terms and conditions shall not be affected or diminished thereby.21. Governing lawand DisputesAny dispute between the parties arising from or in connection with a purchase agreement governed by these Terms shall be governed by Danish law including the United Nations’ Convention for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), with the exception of the conflict of law provisions.Any dispute arising from or in connection with a purchase agreement governed by these Terms and which the parties themselves are unable to resolve shall be referred to and settled by arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, Paris (“Rules”) by one ormore arbitrators appointed in accordance with said Rules. Either party shall be entitled to seek injunctive or interim relief or any other temporary measures. The parties may refer the enforcement of any arbitral award to any competent court. The seat of arbitration shall be Copenhagen, Denmark. English shall be the language to be used in the arbitration proceedings unless otherwise agreed between the parties. The arbitration proceedings and the arbitral award shall be confidential and involved persons on both sides are pledged to secrecy.
