2. SELECT YOUR CITY

Select your currency and measurement unit (sq ft / sq m)

Select a city: you can select the city directly from the dynamic map in “Overview” or by using “Search” function and typing the first letters of the city’s name. In both cases you will need to click on “Office Metrics” box that appears in the small info window over the city.

Compare cities: on this page you are also able to plot cities on a global map following various criteria (# inhabitants, occupancy cost, …) just select the cities you want to plot from “Cities”

1. SIGN UP / LOGIN

The tool can be accesses freely by any web user however certain functionalities as downloading market reports requires you to log in. You can sign up either using your linked in account or registering with your e-mail address and a pass-word. We advise you to log in to enjoy the full functionalities of the tool.

3. Change the criteria to make the results relevant to your organisational needs – you can edit:

• Average workplace density • Desk sharing • Primeness level • Building type • Headcount

For a number of cities you will be able to select your primeness level directly from a city map by checking the box “Select office district on map” this box is only visible for cities where the map is available.

4. VIEW THE RESULTS

The tool will calculate total occupancy cost and a number of other metrics, displayed in the currency of the country you have selected

Visualise standard Net Internal Area (NIA) and local Gross Lease Area (GLA) content

5. Click on the ‘lease structure’ tab at the top of the page to view more detailed leasing information and obligations for the country you have selected.

6. Click on the ‘sustainability’ tab at the top of the page to view sustainability information and regulations for the country you have selected – information only available for a selected number of countries and cities.
