Not a cookie-cutter operation, GFS can and has designed and built paint booths of all sizes — from small bench booths to immense aviation spray booths. The strength and quality of GFS products comes from precision structural engineering and continual product development.

Our in-house design and engineering team consists of electrical engineers, software developers, structural engineers, airflow specialists and systems designers. This experienced team provides pre-contract, mechanical, electrical, AutoCAD, PLC and programming functions

GFS takes pride in how you receive our product. We make sure that all of the panels, ductwork, lights, doors and miscellaneous parts are packed up safely and securely for their journey out of the plant and onto your doorstep. Products are carefully packaged and placed into wooden crates, before being loaded onto a semi truck.

From there, GFS ensures that the trucking company that handles your shipment takes care of the product during transportation.

These booths are designed to be used during sanding and grinding operations to contain dust. Dust-laden air is pulled away from the worker, while filtered air is recirculated back into the workspace.

GFS’ most popular and affordable spray booth, Open-Face Booths are ideal for industrial finishing, batch painting, woodworking and small parts finishing.

A modular design offers the economy of a standardized line of

spray booths, while making available a variety of sizes and configurations to fit a broad range of finishing processes.

A complete system for removing paint coating from metal parts, GFS’ Continuous Burn-Off Systems feature an all-in-one oven and washer. First, paint is ignited in a refractory-lined heated chamber, where air temperatures turn the paint into ash. Then the hooks

and racks are conveyed to a washer where water rinses the ash off and cools them. To conserve resources, water is recirculated through the system. An optional filter is available for removing excess ash from the water stream.

These modular convection type ovens operate at temperatures ranging from 100 F° up to 600 F°. Ovens can be heated with gas, fuel oil or electricity, and are designed to move products through the heat zone using a variety of transport systems. Overhead trolley conveyors, floor

conveyors, belt, chain and flight conveyors are commonly used for transport purposes.

A high-performance finishing environment, Non-Recovery Powder Booths feature an open-face design with 3-stage filtration and a high-capacity, low-noise recirculation fan.

Designed and built for maximum performance and safety, Cartridge Powder Collection Booths use PC-100 modules to recirculate clean, filtered air.

High-performance, energy-efficient finishing environments, GFS’ Powder Coating Booths are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to suit any type of powder coating operation. Powder booths are available in cartridge, non-recovery or high-performance models, and may include conveyor openings.

When resources are limited and floor space is at a premium, these ovens provide an economical solution for a variety of industrial processes, while offering diverse options for customization. Applications include baking, curing, drying and preheating.

Designed to remove a limited amount of cured hydrocarbon coating from metal parts, Batch Burn-Off Ovens turn combustible cured paint into smoke and ashes. During the process, water vapor and carbon dioxide are discharged into the atmosphere, both of which

are invisible, odorless and harmless.

Included in cartridge system booths or sold separately, PC-100 Collector Modules feature a high efficiency filtration system. Air pulse nozzles sequentially inject high velocity air into each filter, aiding in the maintenance and cleaning efficiency of each cartridge filter for longer filter life.

Water Wash Spray Booths handle a larger variety of paints in a wider range of viscosities and drying speeds, and at higher production rates than any of the conventional spray booths. Air is drawn through a continuous curtain of moving water. Sudden changes in airflow directions force solid particles out of the airstream. Correctly engineered water wash

spray booths provide an extremely efficient means for removing paint particles from the exhaust air, and are the most acceptable type of spray booth for all health, fire and building codes.

Washers are used to clean and prepare substrates prior to powder and liquid coating, electrocoating or autophoretic coating. They are also used before or after machining or forming of component parts.

Clean Rooms provide a safe and efficient working environment for any operation.

These environments are designed as a pressurized, air-conditioned room with optional heat and humidity

control. They have excellent lighting, proven construction and filtered air recirculation, and are designed to accept a fire suppression system.

Burn-Off Wash Booths are designed for the secondary cleanup of burned-off racks, hooks, fixtures and parts. Upon existing the burn-off oven, the part is transferred to a cart and rolled into the wash booth, where ambient water is sprayed through nozzles to remove the loose ash from the burn-off process.

These portable, fire-rated buildings are generally used for the safe storage of hazardous materials and waste. Other applications include paint mixing, pumping stations and/or as a compliant
