Tundra Facts
• WHAT- The Coldest of all of Biomes – TUNDRA. The word Tundra has originated from the Finnish word Tunturi – meaning treeless plant
• WHERE-Tundra is mostly around the Arctic circle. The Earth under the Tundra is frozen all year long. This is called Permafrost.
• WHEN- At the northern Circle it is frozen most of the year unless there is a short summer when the ice melts and creates little puddles of melted water.
• WHY- The Tundra Biome is endangered because there is limited Tundra plants and animals to feed from and if one species was to go extinct the whole world might
• HOW- The Tundra was formed via glaciers melting and joining together over millions of years ago

• WHAT- wetlands are areas of land where water covers the soil all year round or just certain times of the year
• WHERE- Wetlands are all around the earth
• WHEN- Wetlands were formed over 10000 years ago
• WHY- Wetlands are important in our world because they reduce the impact of floods and absorb water pollutants and improve our water quality.
• HOW- Wetlands were formed by erosion

Mountain Fact!
• WHAT- mountains are dirt and rock substances built up on eachother over millions of years.
• WHERE- Mountains are a common sight and make up 1 fifth of or earth
• WHEN- Mountains have been on the earth for thousands of years. But some are still being made
• WHY- Mountains are so big because of the build up of soil and rock. Mountains are still growing
• HOW- mountains are going really well in the world because we take care of them
