We visited the History House display in the new Pavilion where we saw the old School Classroom and a kitchen from the past. Children played quoits and knuckles too. Students watched the show jumping while we ate recess then moved around to the Animal Nursery and they saw the Racing Camels, the Snake man and the motorbike trick riders. We walked around to the Grandstand and watched the Puppet show along the way. After the we met the Trick horse riders and we were lucky to be able to pat the beautiful horses before the girls showed us some of their manoeuvres. Students can be commended on their behaviour at the show. They followed instructions, listened beautifully and politely thanked all the exhibitors who shared their time with us. All students carried their own backpacks without fuss too. We are lucky to have such a wonderful Show Society who put the show on every year, displaying the best of our area. The excursion would not have been so successful without the help of our wonderful parents who volunteered their time on Friday. Thank you to these amazing supporters of our school activities. Also thankyou to our cool and calm staff and SLSO's who accompanied us on the day. Wendy Knight Classroom Teacher 1P
