Westin Resort and Spa Cam Ranh is in the northern area of the city and it is located in the leading economic zone that has a rich tourism potential since it is surrounded by beautiful romantic beach with natural landscape. This project started at the end of year 2017 and completed on 24th December 2018. With 19 villas and two blocks of hotels, this high-class resort and spa has a total of 250 rooms to offer.

USG Boral SECUROCK Glass-Mat Sheathing external ceiling was installed in the balcony ceiling and hotel room ceilings. It is also used in the exterior corridor on the connecting bridge between the two hotel blocks.

The customer’s request was to find the right material to resolve cracking issues using the previous ceiling material. USG Boral team proposed USG Boral SECUROCK Glass-Mat system which was very new in the market. The team approached the developer to convince the benefits and advantages of using our products and system, especially USG Boral SECUROCK Glass-Mat that is crack-free, both moisture and mould resistant, and able to sustain harsh weather conditions. Having to meet such requirements, our products and system were ideal for both interior and exterior applications.

This project has opened up opportunities for using USG Boral SECUROCK Glass-Mat Sheathing in interior and exterior ceiling applications.

Phat Dat Real Estate Company launched this project to create a modern tourist area considering that it is located 35 kilometres south from Nha Trang City Centre that eventually fulfils the rising needs of domestic and foreign tourists. Westin Resort and Spa Cam Ranh would be the first resort to bring the prominent Westin brand detailed by Central contractor that does not only target on the building progress but also provides post-construction maintenance services to ensure customers’ reassurance.
