High-performance slug and snail bait that is safe to pets, wildlife and the environment
Dawn is a highly effective slug and snail killer. The pellet contains iron, which is bound into a complex. Once slugs and snails have fed on the pellet, the iron is released from its bound form in the gut, and is uniquely toxic to slugs and snails.
As Dawn does not work through paralysis, slugs and snails move away after feeding to die. There may therefore be no dead slugs or snails visible after use.
As uneaten granules eventually break down, the iron is released into the soil, where it is utilised by plants as an effective micro-nutrient.
Application• Broadcast Application: Apply 15 kg/ha. Application can be made up
to 10 days before sowing, at sowing, or after sowing. Apply evenly over the ground surface, or apply as a band along the rows.
Drilled Application: Drill at 10 kg/ha down the spout/into the furrow with the seed. Drill only where drilling leaves a distinct open slot so as to allow slug/snail access to the bait (otherwise broadcast). Apply through the granule applicator or by mixing in evenly with the seed.
