Our products define the future fashion statements of kids and young adults.

We cater to needs of both boys and girls in the age group from 6 months to 14 years. We have a wide range of products; T-shirts, shirts, jackets, trousers, cargos and jeans for boys. Capris, dungarees, skirts, co-ordinate tops, Jamaicans, jeans and pants for girls, and a complete range of garments for infants. The brand also sells a range of accessories like footwear, eyewear, belts and other co-ordinates.

Retailing a revolution

A business that started out by supplying kids wear to Mumbai's up-market store is now defining the trends in kids fashion across the globe. Our tryst with destiny started in 1994, when we opened a shop in shop in Shoppers'Stop.

We moved on by opening our first exclusive outlet in 1995 in Hyderabad. 54 franchisees, 116 shop-in-shops, 32 factory outlets and more than 600 multi-brand outlets in India and we believe our journey has just started.

The brand is available at all the leading premium departmental stores like Shoppers' stop, Piramyd, Lifestyle, Ebony, Pantaloons, etc, at all their locations throughout the country. The brand is available in all the up-market stores at all the metros and mini-metros.

 

 

 

‘Gini & Jony – Happy Style’ is a niche mother brand of our Company. It is positioned as a super premium offering to the up market kids during the wonder years of life.

The key attributes of this brand are Innocence, Happiness, energy and cutting edge style along with rich design and superior fabric for young customers belonging to SEC A, A+ section of society in the age group of 2 years up to 14 years.

The products are always in coordinate sets i.e. top and bottom, and are designed on a particular theme and are preferably sold together.

The brand is available in the price range of Rs. 325/- up to Rs. 1345/-.

Milestones

1980

Prakash Lakhani started the business of making ready made garments

with 4 stitching machines at Mohtta market the firm was called M/s

Ganga & Co.

1984

The Lakhani brothers travelled abroad for exposure seeking insights into

creating a revolutionary retail phenomenon in India in the Kidswear

segment through branded kidswear. In the same year the brand was

registered in the name of M/s. Harison.

1987

The business expanded in 1987 and they added to their manufacturing

capacity by taking additional space in the shape of galas at Byculla,

Mumbai

1989

The Lakhani Brothers purchased their first set of Galas at Shah & Nahar

Industrial Estate, Lower Parel, Mumbai to expand its capacity.

1994

In 1994 the Company, Gini & Jony Apparel Pvt. Ltd., was incorporated

and with the help of its first PR Agency, they developed the Corporate

Identity (Logo) and defined the Brand image and philosophy. During the

same year Shopper’s Stop, the first organised retail format store,

opened its first store in Andheri, Mumbai

1996

The first Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) of the Company was opened at

Somajiguda in Hyderabad.

The brand is also positioned to compete with other brands in the economy segment and intends to help customers migrate to the premium segment by offering them a lower entry price point.

Since in the kids wear the availability of branded products in the smaller towns is very less a huge potential is available for the brand in these price segment in these towns.

We already have signed no. of stores across the country and have plan to open at least 1000 exclusive stores in next 3 years in these locations focusing on the main markets & upcoming malls in these towns.

Gini & Jony Chak De Bachche

Music has been and continues to be an integral part of the Indian culture, tradition and of course the Indian household.

The country's love for music has given the entertainment industry some of the biggest and most successful television shows and some great singers. If some shows found the best singing talent, other shows cashed in on dancing capabilities and viewers lapped up this hunt for talent. However, today, it is no longer enough to be just a great singer or a great dancer. To be a real superstar one needs to be a complete performer. And if it's children who are on their way to superstardom, there is no missing this treat.

For the first time on Indian television we present a one of its kind show – Gini & Jony Chak De Bachche - it is the hunt for a superstar pair! A hunt bigger and better as it’s a fight between kids from small towns and big towns. Who will do India proud?

24 Kids (12 from big towns and 12 from small towns) aged between 8 to 14 have been selected from every nook and corner of the country. 6 pairs of kids from small towns will be pitted against 6 pairs from big towns. These two teams will be led by their mentors, who will guide them, then will fight for supremacy.

In the presence of three distinguished Judges from the entertainment world, the couples will perform week after week on the songs sung by them and presented through choreographed performance and the country would vote to choose their favorite. Who will win the judges over and who will the nation vote for?

The kids from the smaller towns who don’t get enough facilities for training or the kids from the big cities who have all the facilities but are over burdened with too many activities leaving very little time to enjoy their life?

After 18 weeks of the fight, in an explosive finale, the nation will get its first performer jodi.
