A.Purposeoftheproject
ThepresidentanddirectorofeventsatGCNNJstressedtheneedfordonationsand

Laughterisoneofthemanykeysoflife,whichisstressedintheideologyofGilda’s

C.Descriptionofthebenefitsoftheprojecttothechapterandchaptermembers’understandingofleadershipdevelopment,socialintelligenceandcommunityservice
ThechapterinvolvementwithGCNNJallowsboththeschoolandcommunityto
becomemoreawareoftheneedforsupportforanorganizationthatprovidesemotional

Leadership.Thevariedandmultipleactivitiesinvolvedinthisprojectrequired
strongleadershipoftheco-chairpersons.Decisionshadtobemadewhenrequestswere

GCNNJastothefeasibilityofofferingassistance.Insomeinstances,approvalfromschool

thatalltaskswerecompletedasplanned.Asmanagersofallactivities,theylearnedto

Volunteerslearnedtotakeinitiativebyhelpingthechairpersonswiththetasksthey

abidebytheclubhouses’rules.Gilda’sClubencouragesvolunteerstobemoresocially
