THE GEO BELT
Advantages:
o Simple ground station tracking
o Nearly constant range
o Very small frequency shift
7 | Proprietary and Confidential
Equatorial orbit at ~36,000Km
o Satellite movement is coordinated with the earth rotation
o Satellite appears to be stationary with respect to any location on the Earth
Disadvantages:
o Transmission delay of the order of ~250 msec
o Large free space loss
o No polar coverage

AUTOMATION
Main Goal:
▪ to improve product quality
▪ to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and coverage of tested feature
▪ to reduce testing lifecycle
Benefits of Automation Testing:
▪ Useful to execute the routine tasks like smoke tests and regression tests.
▪ Useful in preparing the test data.
▪ Helps to execute the test cases which involve complex business logic.
▪ Good to execute the cross platform test cases (like different OS, browsers etc.)
▪ When the number of iterations of the test case executions are not known.
