Every purchase you make from this gift catalogue will help fight group B Strep infections in newborn babies.

All of the profit (and all donations) help fund the charity, Group B Strep Support, which is the only UK charity focussed on providing information about GBS to expectant parents, families affected by GBS and relevant health professionals. GBSS receives no Government funding – we rely on donations from our members, supporters and other interested parties. Every purchase and every donation really counts!

Group B Streptococcus (group B Strep/GBS) is the most common cause of life-threatening infection in newborn babies and of meningitis in babies under 3 months old in the UK. Each year approximately 500 babies develop GBS infections, most recover but sadly 50 babies die from their infection and another 30 recover with life-long physical and mental disabilities. Most of these infections could be prevented.
