GREEN HILLS PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT Our patrons spent the afternoon with State Sen- ator Bill Cunningham at The Plant, Chicago’s vertical farming facility in June of this year. We learned about the different agricultural practic- es, how farming practices are becoming more innovative, and how these new techniques are better for the environment and us.
