According to a study by the Pew Research Center in 2013, 85 percent of adults in the United States use the internet, 70 percent have a broadband connection at home and 55 percent currently have a smart phone with access to the internet. In the past 10 years, the Georgia Forestry Association has increased its online presence tremendously, largely because of the implementation of our E-Partner program in 2010. GFA’s Member Update is sent to a list of more than 1,500 members and constituents of the Association on a monthly basis.

In 2013, the association sent an average of 3 emails per month with a 33 percent open rate - 7 percent higher than the national average for associations.

As a part of becoming an E-Partner, you will have the opportunity to advertise in at least five issues of the e-newsletter.

as a clearinghouse for news and information

related to the Association’s advocacy efforts, environmental

education and the forestry community in

Georgia.

In 2013, the website had on average 136 visitors per week for a total of 4,992 unique visitors.

As a benefit of becoming an E-Partner, your logo

will be placed on a rotating banner at the top

of each page. Also, your logo, a short description

of your services and a link to your website will be located on a dedicated

E-Partners page.

This is a great opportunity to reach a niche audience

that is highly focused on the forestry community in

Georgia.

E-PARTNER 2 0 1 4 C O N T R A C T

DESCRIPTION:E-Partner contracts are renewed on a yearly basis on March 15, 2014. Those who sign up in the middle of a contract year will be given a prorated cost.

E-Partner logos will appear on the GFA website in a rotating banner with a maximum of 10 other logos. Logos may be linked to the partner website.

E-Partner advertisements will be displayed at the bottom of the GFA Member Update at a minimum of 5 times each year. These advertisements may be displayed with other ads.

SIZE:All logos and advertisements must be submitted in a .png, .jpg or .tif format and all files must be optimized at least 300 pixels per inch.

The maximum size for logos on the GFA website is 300 pixels wide by 250 tall. The maximum size for advertisements in the GFA e-newsletter is 600 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall.

COST:One full year (12 months): $1,200.00. Checks should be made payable to Georgia Forestry Association, PO Box 1217, Forsyth, GA, 31793.

TERMS:A completed and signed advertising contract, all artwork for the advertisement and your company logo should be sent to: Marilou Myers, Director of Membership, at [email protected].

The E-Partner program is on a first-come first-served basis. To give all interested parties a fair chance, automatic renewals are not to be expected. The program is limited to 10 companies per year.

Ad content must be accurate and ethical. GFA reserves all rights to deny advertising rights at any time during the contract period.
