2. When we arrived we met with the families thathost us and we split up.At the evening we met with all the students in apub and there we knew the French people. 3. On Wednesaday 15th in theevening we came back to theschool to dinnerwiththestudents and the parents of themwho had cooked some typicalfoods. 4. We visited Wuppertal, that is a wonderful town really near to Gevelsberg. The city has an air train. 5. Welistened European direct lecture about professions in Europe and possibilities of practical work in Europe, presented by Frau Krink and Herr Erfkamp. 6. Spanish and French companies We exposed our presentations about spanish companies (Danone and Volvo), also the french students did it. 7. We visited ahydraulic enginefactory inWuppertal. Also wehat the chance toconstruct our ownhydraulic motor. 8. How is the school? It was a big school, there were 4 clases percourse and in all the clases they speakgerman except English and other languages. The first and the second day we were inthe physic class and chemistry class. Thethird and the fourth day we didn`t do anyclass. 9. Subjects In regard to the subjects we found that theirlevel compared with ours is very similar.In addition, they took courses in which we couldparticipate, such as Castilian, English andchemistry.When we were at theInstituteof Gevelsberg we found that make many breaksbetween subjects compared to us. During themorning (8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) they were 2breaks. We do not make any. We realised that not all the students hat class inthe afternoon. It depends on the subjectes whichthey do. 10. THE MENSA The mensa is a very important part in the school, is the place where the pupils eat and where they spent the time without class. 11. Livestyle in GevelsbergOn summereveningstendto gohome (17:00 PM), they do their homework. By mid-afternoon they use to go in a pub for chat.In winter when they leave school often go hometodohomeworkandthen they entertainsurffing internet, playing consoles, etcIn Gevelsberg, many people practice sport in theevenings. Also this yearopened a pool anda sports pavilion. 12. The end
