Getting Started with Learning Catalytics – Student

1) Go to www.learningcatalytics.com and click Create student account.

2) Click I have a signup code.

3) Enter your name and email address, the signup code your instructor gave you, choose a password, and click Create my account.

4) Log in at www.learningcatalytics.com

5) Enter the class session ID provided by your instructor and click Join.

6) Enter your seat number and click OK. If your seat doesn’t have a number click Show seat map.

7) Select the seat you are sitting in from the seat map and click OK.

8) Wait for your instructor to deliver the first question.

9) When the first question is delivered, answer as directed (different problem types require different answer types) and click Submit response.

10) If, at any time during class, you want to anonymously let your instructor know you don’t understand, click the I don’t understand link.

11) If, at any time during class, you want to send a message to your instructor (not anonymous) click the Send a message to the instructor link, type your message in the box and click Send.

12) Continue to answer questions as your instructor delivers them. Once your instructor ends the session you’ll see a message indicating your performance during class.
